Making My Little Dream Come True (on a Trampoline) / 自分の夢を叶��てあげた朝

One of my little dreams came true today. It's morning yoga outside!
For the past few years, morning yoga has been part of my daily routine. I always imagined that one day, when I finally lived somewhere with a spacious balcony or a garden, I'd practice yoga outside.
At some point I realized, "Wait... I don't actually have to own a garden. I could just go to a park." I even thought about bringing my yoga mat outside during summer. It would be a little sad if I spent my whole life waiting for the "perfect place" and never actually did it.
Right now I'm staying in Seiffen, a beautiful village in the mountains of eastern Germany for an artist residency. I debated for days whether to pack my yoga mat, but eventually decided to leave it at home. Ironically, I'm now surrounded by one of the most beautiful landscapes imaginable, and almost every morning I've been tempted to order a folding yoga mat from Amazon.
When my daughter came to visit me this week, we spent some time jumping together on the workshop's trampoline. That's when it hit me: I could do my morning yoga here!
So this morning I tried it.
It wasn't quite like practicing on a yoga mat. The trampoline gently moved beneath me, making every pose a little wobbly. But I slowly flowed through a few rounds of Sun Salutations, surrounded by fresh morning air.
It reminded me that making our own little dreams come true matters. Maybe the hardest part isn't achieving our dreams—it's remembering to stop waiting for the perfect moment.

何を叶えたかというと、外での朝ヨガです。
朝ヨガはここ数年の朝のルーティンで、いつか広いバルコニーか庭のある家に住んだら、外で朝ヨガをしたいなと思っていました。いつからか、「そっか、公園かどこかでしてもいいのか」「夏になったらヨガマット持って行ってみようかな」とも。家を待ちに待って、朝ヨガを外でできずに人生が終わったらなんだか悲しいです。
今は、アーティストインレジデンスで、ドイツ東部の山間のSeiffenに滞在しているのですが、ヨガマットは迷いに迷って家に置いてきました。こんなに素晴らしい場所なのに！毎朝折り畳みマットをAmazonで注文しようか迷う日々でした。
子供が遊びに来た時に工房の庭のトランポリンで一緒に飛び跳ねて、ここで朝ヨガができそう！と。ということでトランポリンで初の外での朝ヨガをしてみました。ヨガマットの上のようには行きませんでしたが、うねうねするトランポリンの上で気持ちよく太陽礼拝を数回。
あ！夢が叶ったとうれしくなり、自分の夢を叶えてあげるって大事だな、いいことだなと思うのでした。
