Assalam-o-Alaikum! I own a mobile phone shop, which I set up at the corner of my house about three years ago. I often handle tasks for my friends—such as transferring money or settling cash payments—based simply on their messages or calls. Today, I received a message from an unknown number that displayed a friend's photo. Since my shop was busy with customers at the time, I transferred 100,000 rupees as requested without verifying the identity. Later, when I called that friend to follow up, I discovered that I had been defrauded.
اسلام علیکم! میری اپنی موبائل کی دکان ہے جو کہ میں نے آج سے تقریباً 3 سال اپنے ہی گھر کے کارنر پر بنائی۔ میں اکثر اپنے دوستوں کے میسج یا کال پر ہی ان کے کام (پیسے سینڈ کرنا یا کیش سیٹلمنٹ وغیرہ)۔ آج ایک انجان نمبر سے مجھے میسج آیا جس پر میرے دوست کی تصویر لگی ہوئی تھی، میرے پاس دکان میں کافی کسٹمرز تھے اس لیے میں نے بغیر تصدیق کیے اس کے کہنے پر 100,000 روپے سینڈ کر دیے۔ فارغ ہو کر جب میں نے اپنے اسی دوست کو کال کرکے جاننا چاہا تو معلوم ہوا کہ میرے ساتھ فراڈ ہو گیا۔
