Español ¡Buenos días, mis queridos Hivers! Hoy les quiero hablar de mi madre, Reina Cova. Ella es lo más valioso que tengo en esta vida. Mi mamá es una persona verdaderamente luchadora y batalladora, una mujer que jamás se ha rendido ante las dificultades. A los 17 años salió de Guanipa rumbo a la ciudad de Mérida, en el estado Mérida, para estudiar en la prestigiosa Universidad de Los Andes (ULA). Allí ingresó a la Facultad de Farmacia, iniciando un camino académico lleno de valentía, disciplina y una enorme vocación de servicio. Hoy en día es una farmacéutica profesional con casi 50 años de graduada. A lo largo de estas casi cinco décadas, ha ejercido no solo como una abnegada profesora, formando con paciencia y sabiduría a muchas generaciones de profesionales, sino también desempeñándose como regente de farmacia. En cada una de sus funciones ha demostrado una ética de trabajo impecable, un compromiso inquebrantable con la salud de su comunidad y un rigor profesional que inspira respeto en todos los que la rodean. Ver su dedicación día a día me ha enseñado el verdadero valor de la responsabilidad y el amor por el trabajo bien hecho.
Yo la amo profundamente, no solo por todo lo que representa para mí, sino también porque la palabra de Dios nos instruye a hacerlo. La Biblia nos da un mandato muy claro sobre este respeto y amor filial, expresado en Éxodo 20:12: "Honra a tu padre y a tu madre, para que tus días se alarguen en la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da." Para mí, cumplir con este mandato bíblico con amor y gratitud es un verdadero privilegio diario.
Reina Cova es el pilar fundamental y el corazón de nuestro hogar. Su fortaleza ha sido nuestro mayor refugio en los momentos más complejos, y su calidad humana llena de luz el entorno de quienes tenemos la fortuna de estar a su lado. Nos ha enseñado con su ejemplo que con perseverancia, fe y esfuerzo constante no hay meta inalcanzable. Para mí, ella trasciende la palabra madre; es mi mentora, mi mayor inspiración y el modelo de vida que siempre busco seguir. Contar con su presencia y su guía es la bendición más grande que me ha dado la vida, y por eso me llena de un profundo orgullo compartir su historia hoy con todos ustedes.

Good morning, my dear Hivers! Today I want to talk to you about my mother, Reina Cova. She is the most valuable thing I have in this life. My mother is a true fighter, a resilient woman who has never backed down in the face of adversity. Above all, I love her with all my heart, not only because of who she is, but because God's word instructs us to do so. The Bible clearly commands us to honor our parents, as written in Exodus 20:12: "Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you." Honoring her is both a divine mandate and a joyful privilege for me.
Reina Cova is the heart and anchor of our family. Her strength has been our greatest source of support through life's most challenging moments, and her warmth creates a safe, loving environment for everyone around her. She has always led by example, proving that perseverance and faith can overcome any obstacle. To me, she is more than just a mother; she is an inspiration, a mentor, and my greatest role model. Having her in my life is a true blessing, and I am deeply proud to honor her journey today with all of you.
