Dear Hive community, Some tasks are simply part of the daily routine, but others deeply touch the heart and wake up cherished memories. Cleaning and maintaining the grounds of the Grupo Escolar José Cova Maza school was, for me, a profound journey back in time.
I attended 6th grade here back in the 1985–1986 school year. Every corner of this institution, which has been standing since its foundation in 1953, carries history and soul. It is the very place where my mother also completed her primary education, making every sweep, every weed pulled, and every cleared path a tribute to our roots.
Together with the dedicated team from EPS Argelia Laya—the hardworking arm of the Guanipa municipality—we poured our hearts into this work. We didn't just clear physical space; we honored the legacy of a school that shaped generations before us and continues to nurture the future. Serving a place that gave so much to my family and my community is a memory I will hold onto dearly. Warm regards to all my fellow Hivers, and thank you for reading!
Español Querida comunidad de Hive, Hay labores que se cumplen como parte de la rutina diaria, pero hay otras que tocan profundamente el corazón y despiertan recuerdos inolvidables. Realizar la limpieza y el mantenimiento en el Grupo Escolar José Cova Maza fue, para mí, un emotivo viaje al pasado.
En este lugar estudié mi sexto grado de educación primaria durante el año escolar 1985–1986. Cada rincón de esta escuela, fundada en 1953, guarda historia y esencia. Es el mismo espacio donde mi mamá también cursó su primaria, por lo que cada barrido y cada área despejada se convirtieron en un verdadero homenaje a nuestras raíces.
Junto al valioso equipo de la EPS Argelia Laya, brazo ejecutor de la alcaldía de Guanipa, le pusimos todo el empeño y el corazón a esta jornada. No se trató solo de limpiar un espacio físico, sino de honrar el legado de una institución que formó a nuestras familias y que continúa construyendo el futuro de la comunidad.
