En Español Buenas noches mis queridos hivers. Cada paso que damos en nuestras comunidades es un paso hacia la construcción de un futuro mejor, y hoy nuestro compromiso nos llevó de vuelta al corazón del Municipio Guanipa. Continuamos nuestra labor en una zona que posee un valor inmenso para nuestro entorno local y la vida comunitaria: cerca de El Basquero, justo al lado de la Escuela Granja y a muy corta distancia de las aguas naturales del Río Tigre. Estar en este lugar nos recuerda la profunda conexión que existe entre nuestras acciones diarias y los ecosistemas que nos rodean.
Trabajar en las cercanías del Río Tigre pone de inmediato sobre la mesa el tema de la limpieza ambiental. Las fuentes de agua son las venas de nuestra tierra, y mantener estos espacios limpios no es solo un esfuerzo estético; es una responsabilidad vital para nuestra salud colectiva y la preservación de nuestra biodiversidad local. Cada desecho recolectado y cada área despejada cerca de la escuela granja se traduce en un cauce más limpio, un suelo más sano y un entorno más seguro para que nuestros niños aprendan y crezcan. La conciencia ambiental comienza en casa y se extiende a cada rincón de nuestro municipio.
Es imposible caminar por estos espacios verdes, sentir el calor de nuestro suelo y contemplar nuestros ríos sin reconocer una verdad transparente: Venezuela es innegablemente bella. Sus paisajes naturales, su espíritu resiliente y su riqueza ambiental no tienen comparación. Sin embargo, amar a nuestra tierra también significa reconocer el duro contraste de nuestra realidad cotidiana. Llevamos a cabo esta labor en un país donde el salario mínimo se mantiene en unos angustiantes 130 Bs —lo que equivale a tan solo $0,15 USD— convirtiendo la supervivencia diaria en una lucha constante para las familias de toda la nación.
Sin embargo, a pesar de estas extremas dificultades económicas y desafíos sistémicos, la dignidad de nuestra gente permanece intacta. No limpiamos nuestras calles ni protegemos nuestros ríos porque sea fácil o bien remunerado; lo hacemos porque esta tierra nos pertenece y su futuro vale la pena. Nuestra dedicación al Municipio Guanipa demuestra que la fuerza comunitaria y el amor por nuestro país pueden brillar incluso en medio de la penumbra financiera más dura. In English Good evening my dear hivers. Every step we take in our communities is a step toward building a better future, and today our commitment brought us back to the heart of Municipio Guanipa. We continued our work in an area that holds immense value for our local environment and community life: near El Basquero, right by the Escuela Granja, and just a short distance from the natural waters of the Río Tigre. Being in this place reminds us of the profound connection between our daily actions and the ecosystems that surround us.
Working in close proximity to the Río Tigre instantly brings the conversation around environmental cleanliness into sharp focus. Water sources are the veins of our land, and keeping these spaces clean isn't just an aesthetic effort; it is a vital responsibility for our collective health and the preserve of our local biodiversity. Every piece of waste removed and every cleared space near the farm school means a cleaner stream, healthier soil, and a safer environment for our children to learn and grow. Environmental awareness begins at home and extends into every corner of our municipality.
It is impossible to walk through these green spaces, feel the warmth of our soil, and look at our rivers without recognizing a simple truth: Venezuela is undeniably beautiful. Its natural landscapes, resilient spirit, and rich biodiversity are unmatched. However, loving our land also means acknowledging the harsh contrast of our everyday reality. We carry out this work in a country where the minimum wage stands at a agonizing 130 BS—which translates to a mere $0.15 USD—making daily survival a constant struggle for families across the nation.
Yet, despite these extreme economic hardship and systemic challenges, the dignity of our people remains unbroken.
