As Christians, we are one family, redeemed by the same precious blood and travelling toward the same heavenly home. Therefore, we must stand by each other in times of trials, protect one another’s feelings and reputation, be willing to deny ourselves for the good of others.
The scriptures says in 1 John 3: 23; “And this is his commandment, that we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another”.
The book of 1 Thessalonians 4: 9 also emphasizes on this by saying: ”As touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another”
