When we do to people good, we not only bless them, we also position ourselves to receive God's unmerited favor, mercy and miracles. Throughout Scripture, we see this truth brought to light. An instance is the Zarephath widow who had sustainability in the time of famine. Another instance is The Shunammite woman who received the miracle of a baby and later experienced him brought back to life from the dead. We also see the case of Dorcas also known as Tabitha, who ministered to believers and by so doing experienced God’s mercies because they cared for others. Every act of good or kindnesses we extend to people matters to God. As we do good to those in the household of faith we should not fail to also extend it out homes, workplaces, communities and everyday interactions.
