English version

The friend death

What do we think when we find this title? Maybe it may sound a bit harsh and yes, at some point in my life, I would not have been able to understand it. Nowadays I prefer to see it as the ally that helps cross limits and, although it may sound somewhat paradoxical, it also helps to continue moving forward. When a marriage, family or friendship dies, for example, we usually go through a state that we could call mourning, since it feels very similar; Some may cry, feel that they will not be able to continue and even feel so lonely that the will to live fades. On the other hand, for another group of people, nothing simply happens; However, the bond does die and every communication link is buried in its entirety.

At other times, when we have to say goodbye to a friend or family member, we usually feel pain, worry and go through all possible moods. Much more so when we have to say goodbye to that person we love so much. The next thing I am going to tell you briefly is my experience with death and the way I have made it a friend and close to beings I love.

Yesterday, in a hospital room with white walls, upon entering you could feel the cold of the atmosphere. My friend lay in a bed, a beautiful, strong woman and an example of life for many, and seeing her lying motionless and tied to a respirator was like seeing everything she didn't want to get to, because we had talked about it on other occasions. I was with her, because it was my turn to accompany her, since her daughter also needed to rest. When you have a family member in a hospital, not only the patient suffers, but the entire circle that accompanies them.

Now, when I was with my friend, I could feel that she could hear everything she was saying, because she was trying to open her eyes and that effect was in response to questions I asked her, so when I found her means of communication with me, I decided to do a meditation to take her to that warm place and get her out of that place. We meditated together and on that trip, we talked about her husband, where he would be, her friends and family. We also talked about the angels who, although they do not have wings, floated just as she did in the sea, because there we were floating and understanding that death in this case did not mean a transformation, but a passage from one life to another. At that moment I managed to make her fall asleep and I told her I'll leave you floating in that warm and calm sea.

Friend Death is just a phrase, but it gains meaning when we learn to look at it from another perspective. How do you look at it?

I invite you to reflect and share your moments with Liketu and your @talentos too.

Fondly Angelica7
