Sean bienvenidos a mi blog comunidad costurera,les deseo una maravillosa noche o dia de hoy,les quiero mostrar como hice una bonita transformación de prenda, estaré transformando un vestido corto de dama en un short para una clienta,ella le gusta remodelar toda la ropa que tiene en casa y hacerle ropa a sus nietas en este caso me mandó a hacer este short que hoy comparto el proceso creativo de una manera fácil y sencilla.Espero les entretenga muchísimo:

Pasos a seguir: | Steps to follow:
Paso 01 Comencé desarmando mi vestido en las partes donde podía hacer este trabajo ya que algunas piezas no eran necesarias desarmarlas ya que era muy útil dejarlas así entonces las que si pude desarmar con ellas estuve cortando las piezas para mí short.
> Step 01 > I started by taking apart my dress in the parts where I could do this work, since some pieces did not need to be taken apart as it was very useful to leave them as they were. Then, with the pieces I could take apart, I cut the pieces for my shorts.

Paso 02 El siguiente paso consiste en unir ambos tiros de la entrepierna del short,Coseremos la pieza de adelante y atrás,he cosido con overclock está pieza luego con costura recta.
> Step 02 > The next step is to join both crotch seams of the shorts. We will sew the front and back pieces together. I have overlocked this piece and then sewn it with a straight stitch.

Paso 03 Estaremos después ubicando nuestra pretina del mismo ancho del short y vamos a coserla por el contorno de la cintura dejando una pequeña abertura sin coser para insertar nuestro elástico con la herramienta pasacintas y otra herramienta que se te haga mucho más fácil poder insertar tu elástico, después de insertar dicho elástico cosemos por el borde ,lo llevamos a su sitio y volvemos a coser la pretina del short.
> Step 03 > Next, we'll position our waistband, the same width as the shorts, and sew it around the waist, leaving a small opening unsewn to insert our elastic using a tape tool or another tool that makes it much easier for you to insert your elastic. After inserting the elastic, we sew along the edge, tuck it into place, and sew the waistband of the shorts again.

Paso 04 Por último respisaremos nuestra pretina con costura recta por encima de ella para evitar que se nos mueva,ahora para finalizar voy a coser el ruedo del short de 2 cm de ancho y cosemos por el borde lo hice con mi maquinita zigzag.
> Step 04 > Finally, we will reinforce our waistband with a straight stitch over it to prevent it from moving. Now, to finish, I'm going to sew the hem of the shorts, 2 cm wide, and we sew along the edge. I did it with my zigzag sewing machine.
