Hola comunidad reciban un apreciado y hermoso saludo este dia de este bello fin de semana,ustedes se estarán preguntando una vez comenzaron a leer el post ¿Se puede hacer un short a partir de un vestido? Yo también lo veía raro incluso difícil ya que no es cualquier tipo a simple vista es un vestido de fiesta,por supuesto esta pieza la mandó a hacer una clienta para de niña ya que no quería desperdiciar la tela y veía prudente hacerle una transformación y convertirla en una pieza que si podría usar su nieta.

Trabajar este tipo de tela no se me hizo difícil pero aún desconsiendolo no podía creer el reto que me acababa de proponer hacer un short a partir de un vestido que tiene cortes se vuelve más complicado ,la ventaja es que el vestido era corto y podía descoser y transformar,les muestro acá los materiales a usar y el resultado para que ustedes puedan apreciar el arte que tiene la costura en convertir una tela o prenda en lo que se desea.

Pasos a seguir: | Steps to follow:
Paso 01 El primer paso originalmente es extender la tela en la mesa o superficie plana para cortarlas,vamos a cortar dos piezas para parte delantera y dos piezas del short para parte trasera,luego cortamos la pretina del short del ancho del elástico más dos centímetros ,cortamos también las cintas que llevará el short para decoradas.
> Step 01 > The first step is to spread the fabric on the table or flat surface to cut them. We're going to cut two pieces for the front and two pieces for the back of the shorts. Then we cut the waistband of the shorts to the width of the elastic plus two centimeters. We also cut the ribbons that the shorts will have for decoration.

Paso 02 La parte que es mi favorita en la costura es cuando tenemos las piezas listas a la mano para llevar al horno por supuesto la máquina ,ahora coseremos los costados del short y la unión de la entrepierna con costura recta y overclock.
> Step 02 > My favorite part of sewing is when we have the pieces ready to go in the oven, of course the machine. Now we will sew the sides of the shorts and the crotch seam with straight stitching and overlock stitching.

Paso 03 Lo siguiente que haremos será ubicar la pretina en este caso mi manera de hacerla es así ubicamos los cuatro extremos del short después de sellarlo con costura por los costados tomamos el short y la pretina la ubicamos en cada cuatro partes con alfileres cosemos primero recta dejando un horificio para que nos sea de gran ayuda insertar nuestro elástico,pasaremos el elástico cosemos la unión sellamos también el horificio por donde la hemos insertado y ya luego vamos a repisar por encima mi pretina.
> Step 03 > The next thing we will do is position the waistband. In this case, my way of doing it is like this: we locate the four ends of the shorts after sealing them with a seam along the sides. We take the shorts and the waistband, placing it in each of the four parts with pins. We sew straight first, leaving a hole to make it very helpful to insert our elastic. Paso 04 Por último nos queda ya coser el ruedo con overclock y de ancho de unos 2 cm para el ruedo repisando con la máquina recta,por último vamos a coser las cintas la volteamos y las vamos a unir justo donde llega la unión del short en cada lado repisandola también.
> Step 04 > Finally, we need to sew the hem with an overlock stitch, about 2 cm wide, using a straight stitch machine. Finally, we will sew the ribbons, turn them over, and join them right where the short seam reaches on each side, also using a straight stitch.

Le di un mejor acabado con la plancha de ropa para evitar arrugas y se vea un mejor acabado ,es pero les guste como quedó esta transformación de vestido a short 😁👍🏻.
