تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُؕ-كُلَّمَا رُزِقُوْا مِنْهَا مِنْ ثَمَرَةٍ رِّزْقًاۙ-قَالُوْا هٰذَا الَّذِیْ رُزِقْنَا مِنْ قَبْلُۙ-وَ اُتُوْا بِهٖ مُتَشَابِهًاؕ-وَ لَهُمْ فِیْهَاۤ اَزْوَاجٌ مُّطَهَّرَةٌۗۙ-وَّ هُمْ فِیْهَا خٰلِدُوْنَ(25)English Translation (of Kanz-ul-Iman)"And give glad tidings to those who believe and do good deeds, that for them are gardens beneath which rivers flow; whenever they are given any fruit from those gardens to eat, seeing its appearance they will say, 'This is the same provision which we were given before,' and they are given it resembling in appearance; and for them in those gardens are purified wives, and they will abide in them forever."English Commentary (of Tafseer Siraat-ul-Jinan){And give glad tidings to those who believe and do righteous deeds.}It is the Sunnah (way) of Allah Almighty to mention motivation (Targhēb) alongside warning (Tarhēb) in the Quran. Therefore, after mentioning the disbelievers, their deeds, and their punishment, He mentioned the believers, their deeds, and their reward, and gave them the glad tidings of Paradise. "Salihat" (righteous deeds) refers to actions that are good according to Islamic law (Shariah), including both obligatory (Faraid) and voluntary (Nawafil) acts. Here too, belief (Iman) and action (Amal) are mentioned separately, which indicates that action is not an integral part (component) of belief. (Tafseer Madarik, Al-Baqarah, under Ayah: 25, p. 38){And they were given it in resemblance.}The fruits of Paradise will resemble each other in appearance but will be distinct in taste. Therefore, when they receive fruits again after having received them once, the dwellers of Paradise will say, "This fruit was given to us before." However, when they eat it, they will experience a new delight, and their enjoyment will increase greatly. Another meaning explained is that they will be given fruits resembling worldly fruits so that they remain familiar with them, but the heavenly fruits will be far superior in taste compared to worldly fruits.{Purified spouses.}The heavenly wives, whether they are Houris (celestial maidens) or others, will all be free from all forms of impurity and filth. There will be no dirt on their bodies, nor any other uncleanness. Along with this, they will also be free from bad temper and ill manners. (Tafseer Madarik, Al-Baqarah, under Ayah: 25, p. 39){And they will abide therein forever.}The dwellers of Paradise will never perish, nor will they ever be expelled from Paradise. Therefore, there is no end or destruction for Paradise and the people of Paradise
