Yesterday afternoon, my husband and I went to the Capitol because we heard that the Dragon Fruit Festival would be opening this week. We decided to go there to take a look and capture some photos of what was happening that afternoon. When we arrived, this was what we saw—a group of older adults and moms enjoying a Zumba session. 🎶😊
Zumba is a great form of exercise, especially for older adults. It helps strengthen our lungs and can feel a bit like running. The difference is that you stay in one place while moving your whole body through dancing. 💃🎶😊

They look wonderful to watch because they are all wearing matching uniforms, from the younger participants to the older ones. Everyone was really keeping up with the dance, and the older participants especially seemed to be having so much fun following their Zumba instructor at the front. They were having such a great time when suddenly the music stopped. It turned out that there was a power outage across the entire province. This has been one of the problems here lately because there are frequent manual load-shedding interruptions due to a shortage of electricity. Since they didn't know when the power would come back, they requested generators so they could continue enjoying their Zumba session. 💃🎶😊
When the electricity finally came back, their instructor went back up and they started doing Zumba again. Some of the participants also went upstairs so they could continue dancing there. We didn’t stay until the end of the Zumba session. My husband and I decided to leave and continue exploring the area.
