Amidst all the usual rubbish going on in the world—and especially in my country—I wanted to highlight two specific issues in this post. The first concerns the immense fortune held by the King of Morocco; to give you an idea, Forbes magazine has stated it is unable to accurately calculate his wealth, though it is estimated at around 16 billion euros—undoubtedly the largest fortune in Africa and one of the top ten globally.
The second point is directly or indirectly related to this: a few days ago, I reported that certain NGOs had been spotted buying materials in Ceuta shops to manufacture Molotov cocktails and sulfur bombs. Store owners had noticed this and alerted the police, but at the time, it was merely a suspicion—a rumor—that has now, unfortunately, materialized into actual attacks using Molotov cocktails against the local population of Ceuta.
Yes, this represents a massive escalation in violence; indeed, the violence has once again reached the military. We have a new case of an attack on the Regulares (Spanish Army infantry units), with a sergeant suffering a head injury after being cornered and attacked by these agitators—known locally as mojamelas—and falling to the ground. Meanwhile—to give you some context—you will see news reports from the Moroccan press claiming that these mojamelas causing trouble here in Ceuta are actual victims, and warning that if a tragedy occurs, we will have to face the consequences. And the government? It does absolutely nothing.
On top of paying for the accommodation, that is the only response this government offers—aside from the endless stream of lies they feed us. The lying has reached such a level that the government has literally forbidden PSOE officials from attending the demonstrations taking place across Spain—in major cities, such as the one scheduled for September 2nd. By doing so, they deny our fellow citizens in Ceuta the support they deserve and turn their backs on that part of Spain.
I honestly don't know what to make of the rabble that votes for the PSOE; what more proof could they possibly want? The only politicization taking place is the attack—the invasion—suffered by a part of our territory. If, after being invaded, we are expected to simply keep our mouths shut, we are in a bad way—a very bad way indeed.
A couple of days ago, a massive purchase of materials for making Molotov cocktails was detected—made by an NGO called "No Name Kitchen." This is something that should have raised red flags and prompted a series of preventive measures—arrests, and so on—but it seems none were taken. After all, you wouldn't want to arrest someone and risk upsetting "Mojamela," right? You have to understand that. And sure enough, after a lot of fuss—as the newspaper here reports—the police have identified the "No Name Kitchen" activists as the NGO that handed out Molotov cocktails to the invaders in Ceuta. What do they think is being done with those Molotov cocktails? Warming their hands at night? But that’s not all; there is another NGO—this is just mind-boggling. In this case, it’s a German NGO that set up a stand at the "Trampolín" beach in Ceuta to give away mobile phones and chargers to the invaders. Think about it: these kids come from a country where the king steals everything—absolutely everything—and they have access to practically nothing. Then you arrive, lie on a beach, and—according to them, since it’s their right and their customs and traditions—you can abuse any woman you want; and as for playing with a phone, well, an NGO just hands you one. What could possibly go wrong? Nothing. We’re practically inviting them—shouting through a megaphone: "Come on over! Come on over, we’re idiots!" That is, more or less, the message our friend Pedro is sending us.
