Good Vibes & Great Bites: Dinner at Gasthaus Traube šš½

Hi everyone! I hope youāre all doing well. Today, Iād like to share with you some moments from our dinner together. My husband, his friends, and I had dinner at a German restaurant. It was a lovely evening, and Iām happy to share it with all of you!
Since Christian had just come back from his vacation in the Philippines, they decided to meet up and catch up with each other. They actually do this every timeāwhenever one of them comes back from a trip, they always make time to get together.
The restaurant opens at 6 p.m. Since it was only 4 p.m., it was still too early to head to the restaurant, so we decided to drive to Christianās house first and have a drink.
It was only a few minutesā drive, and we soon arrived at his place. As usual, we were greeted with lots of energy and warm greetings. He then served us some drinksābeer and water with a slice of lemon.
We sat and talked for a while, just enjoying each otherās company and passing the time. We talked about his vacation in the Philippines and shared other interesting stories and conversations. It was a nice and relaxed way to spend the afternoon before heading out for dinner.
Then, after just one drink, we headed to the restaurant, Gasthaus Traube, in Weilandsweiler. Christian joined us, so we all drove together to the restaurant.
I realized that it was a bit far from our place, but we didnāt mind because we enjoyed the beautiful scenery along the way. Since itās still summer, the fields were lush and green, making the drive even more pleasant. It was nice to simply enjoy the view and the peaceful countryside before arriving at the restaurant.
When we arrived, the restaurant was just opening right on time. We saw some honey for sale, so we bought a jar to bring home. Then we sat in the area Christian had reserved for us. It was so lovelyāthe place was cool and refreshing, with the beautiful linden trees providing plenty of shade.
Then we started looking through the menu, and after a while, we placed our orders. Each of us chose a different dish, and we all had a salad as well.
The salads came first, and they tasted really good. Soon after, our main dishes arrived. The presentation was beautiful, and everything looked just as delicious as it tasted. We started eating and sharing, trying a little bit of each otherās food. Everything was so delicious and flavorful!
These kinds of food and drinks are always best enjoyed when shared with friends, especially while chatting and talking about life together.
Sitting there, enjoying the delicious food, the beautiful surroundings, and watching people happily dining around us made the whole experience even more special. Everything about the restaurant felt so lovely and peaceful.
