Una de las grandes favoritas para llevarse este mundial 2026 es la España de Luis de La Fuente, quienes no solo vienen de ser los actuales campeones de la Eurocopa, sino que además son finalista de la Nations League, donde perdieron en penales contra Portugal, y tuvieron un paso casi perfecto en las eliminatorias mundialistas, con un paso prácticamente perfecto.

España dominó los 90 minutos, apenas permitiendo disparos en contra de su arco, pero la ausencia de varias de sus figuras por precaución, así como la actuación heroica de Vozinha, portero de 40 años que hace vida en la segunda división de Portugal, hicieron que el marcador no se moviera.

Con el 10 del Barcelona en el terreno de juego, complementado desde la media punta por un Dani Olmo más incisivo, y como 9 dinámico Oyarzabal, los de Luis de La Fuente fueron infinitamente superiores, llevaron la posesión y las ocasiones los 90 minutos, y poco faltó para que fuera una de la goleadas del torneo. Solo necesitaron 10 min para la conexión Oyarzabal-Yamal generará el primer gol, convirtiendo a Lamine en uno de los goleadores mas precoces de la competición.

Y justamente desde allí, Oyarzabal brilló con luz propia, marcando dos tantos de auténtico hombre de área, e incluso, pudo anotar un tercero, pero el travesaño se lo negó.

Este resultado no cambia mucho mis sensaciones ante La Roja, pues más allá del empate contra Cabo Verde, entiendo que eso no es la normalidad, pues si se enfrentaran en 10 partidos, España seguro ganaría los otros 9, por lo que entiendo que es un error, más que algo que demuestre una tendencia. En la quiniela que hice, fueron los campeones, y viendo que tanto Lamine como Nico sumaron minutos hoy, mis sensaciones son aún mejores para verlas levantar su segundo entorchado.

If they faced each other in 10 matches, Spain would surely win the other 9, so I see it as a mistake rather than something that demonstrates a trend. In my prediction, they were the champions, and seeing that both Lamine and Nico played minutes today, my feeling is even stronger that they'll lift their second title.
