Potential and the light at the end of the tunnel for the Holozing MMO!

The recent progress update from holozing has made the MMO side of the project much more interesting. For a long time, we have talked about the potential of holozing as a creature-collecting game, but seeing the MMO taking shape opens the door to something much bigger.

An MMO can transform holozing from a game that players simply log into for battles and collecting into a world that players actually inhabit.

---

---

The most exciting part is that the foundation already exists. holozing is designed around creatures, healers, professions, items, rarity and player ownership. The official game vision also includes both PvE and PvP, crafting and an economy connected to the Hive blockchain.

The MMO could bring all of these systems together.

Imagine entering an open world where your healer isn't simply a menu or battle character, but the character you use to explore. You could travel between different areas, encounter wild creatures, gather resources, craft equipment and eventually meet other players.

---

---

This is where the MMO format could become extremely powerful.

Exploration could become just as important as combat.

Different regions could contain different creatures, resources and challenges. Rare creatures could encourage players to explore dangerous areas, while professions could give players reasons to return to specific locations.

---

---

Then there is the social element.

MMOs become much more interesting when players have reasons to interact with each other. Guilds, trading, cooperative encounters, tournaments and player-driven markets could create an ecosystem where players aren't simply competing against the game, but also participating with one another.

This could also give the $ZING economy considerably more utility.

According to the holozing whitepaper, ZING is intended for activities such as crafting, gear upgrades, consumables, cosmetics, tournament entry and progression.

---

---

An MMO could potentially turn those utilities into something much more tangible.

Instead of simply holding a token because you believe in the project, players could eventually have countless reasons to use it inside the world.

And perhaps the biggest opportunity is long-term progression.

If the MMO allows players to build collections, develop professions, obtain rare gear, unlock achievements and participate in competitive systems, players could have goals that last months or even years.

---

---

That is important because a successful MMO isn't built around one exciting launch.

It is built around giving players a reason to come back tomorrow.

The current beta is obviously still an early stage. There will be bugs, balancing issues and mechanics that need improvement. But that is normal for a project at this point in development.

What matters is that we can now begin seeing the pieces of the vision coming together.

---

---

holozing has the potential to become more than a creature-collecting game.

It could become a persistent blockchain-powered world, where collecting, battling, crafting, trading, exploring and social interaction all connect.

And if the team can successfully turn the current MMO foundation into a deep and enjoyable experience, the potential for holozing could be significantly larger than what many people initially imagined.

The journey is still beginning.
