After clearing the village, I investigated a brutal scene south of Alrekstad, discovering Saxon mercenaries had framed the Raven Clan. Intercepted by mercenaries, Eivor was saved by Master Roshan, who revealed Earl Edward had an Order member with him. Together, we traveled toward a tower near Ravensburg to scout Edward's position.
Having cleared out the remaining enemies in the village, I recalled Synin to scout the area from above. I spotted a location along the shore south of Alrekstad featuring a longship and scattered corpses, convincing me it was the exact meeting spot I had been searching for.
I summoned my mount and rode directly toward the shore to begin my investigation.
Arriving at the site, the sheer brutality of the scene became immediately clear. The fallen warriors had suffered horrific deaths, including one body that looked completely burnt or melted.
Examining the first corpse, Eivor noted that the precise, clinical wounds indicated a calculated execution rather than a chaotic battle. Inspecting a second body, Eivor spotted a Raven Clan Crew Outfit in solid condition and reclaimed it for our inventory.
Continuing the search near the shoreline, I found a written note attached to an unflagged longship. Reading the message revealed that Saxon mercenaries had stolen the vessel to launch a raid disguised as our crew, planning to pin the blame entirely on the Raven Clan.
As I examined another body, a cinematic sequence triggered. Some Saxon mercenaries approached the scene, demanding to know who killed their sentries before threatening to drag Eivor before Earl Edward.
Eivor agreed that meeting Edward sounded fine, and both sides drew their weapons. Before the fight could begin, a smoke bomb detonated across the shore, and someone instantly knocked out the entire group of Saxon warriors.
Out of the smoke stepped Roshan, the Hidden One master from Assassin's Creed Mirage who trained Basim. Explaining that she and Eivor shared a common threat, Roshan revealed that Earl Edward had a member of the Order with him and she offered to lead the way to him.
As I fell into step behind Roshan, she noticed the Hidden Blade on Eivor's wrist and asked where it came from. Eivor replied that it was a gift from his brother but he didn't mention Basim.
Our path led back toward Ravensburg, which I realized was where Edward had established his holdout.
Reaching the outskirts, Roshan pointed toward a tall tower overlooking the settlement, noting it would give us a clear view of Edward's stronghold. I followed her up the tower to scout the target.
