Jesus said to His disciples, “It is not for you to know the times or seasons which the Father has put in His own power.” Still, He reassured them: “You shall receive power.”
This promise was fulfilled in Acts 2 when the Holy Spirit descended upon them on the day of Pentecost.
God has ordained that all believers be an agent of signs and wonders. His desire is not for us only to talk about power but to manifest it.
Our prayer should be to receive this power from on high, enabling us to do exploits for God here and now.
