Financial success changes people's character

Hello, guys!

This question is very important, and I will respond to it with my experience when it comes to financial success, and this has the power to change one's character drastically.

>Does financial success change someone's character, values, and priorities, or does having more power and freedom simply expose what was already hidden beneath the surface?

Yes, financial success changes the way people behave, either at home or outside the home; it has changed people's priorities before, and this has become a thing of concern for the individual.

Yes, I want to share my story of how I started gaining financial success, and my character suddenly changed from being humble to being proud of my financial success, and it was obvious and so bad that my mother noticed it. I was talking to people anyhow, and each time my mother advises me, I would decline her advice and end the call on her. The same thing to my siblings, I will not even wait for them to end the call, when they pissed me off. As I grew, I realized that I was putting up nonsense behavior that wasn't pleasing and impactful to anyone. Instead of calming down, I was busy making friends who were not adding value to my life, and I spent time with both male and female friends; they drained me, and I regretted being with them. At some point, I wasn't paying attention to my family members, I neglected my parents and siblings, and I was focusing on keeping a bad relationship, but then, with my bad attitude, my family always reached out to me and even prayed for me. After some of my friends scattered, the family I neglected stood by me, praying and encouraging, even after giving them attitude. I realized that family is the greatest gift in this world.

Financial success also changes my priority for service to God, at some point, I didn't have an interest in God's work again. I was always pursuing money and work everyday. And it was a thing of concern. My service for God, dropped. It was so bad.

As I grew in this way, I realized that humility elevates financial success. The more you humble yourself, the more you are elevated in finances and otherwise.

Therefore, let's not let financial success overwhelm us or blind us so that we can't see clearly, or give respect to whom is due.

Thank you, #indiaunited for this interesting topic
