Cumpliendo una promesa 🙏🏻 [ESP-ENG]

Feliz noche amigos de Hive Margarita hoy quiero compartir con ustedes cómo este año segui cumpliendo con una promesa que tengo hace par de años y es llevar una torta a la virgen del valle. Y es que como margariteños hoy es un día muy importante para nosotros y es que se celebra el día de la virgen del valle. Yo hace algunos años empecé está promesa o tradición y es llevarle una torta a la virgen el día antes de sus festividades. Por mucho pensé si esté año ir o no. Pero me animé a ir porque aunque las cosas con mi mamá no salieron como yo hubiese querido, estoy segura que mi mamá me hubiera dicho que ya hice una promesa y debo cumplirla.
>Good evening, friends of Hive Margarita! Today I want to share with you how this year I continued fulfilling a promise I made a couple of years ago: to bring a cake to the Virgin of the Valley. As people from Margarita, today is a very important day for us, as we celebrate the day of the Virgin of the Valley. A few years ago, I started this promise, or tradition, of bringing a cake to the Virgin the day before her festivities. I thought a lot about whether or not to go this year. But I decided to go because even though things with my mom didn't go as I had hoped, I'm sure she would have told me that I had already made a promise and I had to keep it.
Me levanté bien temprano a decorar la torta, el fin de semana compré las flores que le quería colocar y el Topper. La decoración era una decoración bastante sencilla. Decore la torta y tome algunas fotos para subir a mi cuenta de Instagram.
>I got up really early to decorate the cake. I bought the flowers and the topper over the weekend. The decoration was quite simple. I decorated the cake and took some pictures to upload to my Instagram account.
Quería comprarme una camisa con la virgen del valle, ya tengo una que es del año pasado. Pero entre las clases y otras cosas olvide comprar la camisa que quería y es que los días están pasando gab rápido que algunas veces no da chance de nada. Me arregle y salí de casa ya que había quedado de ir a la iglesia con mi mejor amiga.
>I wanted to buy a shirt with the Virgin of the Valley on it; I already have one from last year. But between classes and other things, I forgot to buy the shirt I wanted. The days are going by so fast that sometimes there's no time for anything. I got ready and left the house since I had plans to go to church with my best friend.
Finalmente llegamos casi al medio d��a al valle y tomamos esta foto antes de entrar a la iglesia. De verdad que el sol en la isla está demasiado fuerte. Yo antes de salir de casa me coloque bastante protector ya que no sabía si habría mucha gente y tendría que hacer fila para entrar a la iglesia. Pero al llegar nos dimos cuenta que no había fila para entrar a la iglesia.
>We finally arrived in the valley around midday and took this photo before going into the church. The sun on the island is truly intense. Before leaving home, I applied plenty of sunscreen because I wasn't sure if there would be a lot of people and if I'd have to wait in line to enter the church. But when we arrived, we realized there was no line at all.
Al entrar a la iglesia si habia bastantes personas, nos sentamos un rato a esperar que las personas fueran saliendo para irnos acercando hasta donde está la virgen. Justamente la iglesia estaba decorada con muchas flores blancas y azules y yo justamente decore la torta con flores blancas y azules y me pareció una coincidencia muy bella.
>When we entered the church, there were quite a few people. We sat for a while waiting for people to leave so we could approach the statue of the Virgin Mary. The church was decorated with many white and blue flowers, and I had also decorated my cake with white and blue flowers, which I thought was a beautiful coincidence.
Por supuesto le pedí a mi mejor amiga que me tomara una foto con la torta y de fondo la imagen de la virgen. Es increíble el fervor y el amor que tiene el pueblo margariteño hacia la virgen. Mi segundo nombre es en honor a la Virgen Del Valle y me parece muy lindo tener está tradición de traer una torta todo los años. Pidiendo este año a la virgen que me dé fortaleza para afrontar todo lo que me ha tocado vivir este año.

My middle name is in honor of Our Lady of the Valley, and I think it's wonderful to have this tradition of bringing a cake every year. Tal vez no sea la gran cosa traer una torta pero a mí me hace feliz y sobretodo lo hago con mucho amor. También pidiendo por mi emprendimiento que crezca y me vaya mucho mejor.

Por supuesto agradecida con mi mejor amiga por estar siempre junto a mi y acompañándome en todo momento. Ella no quería salir debido al calor intenso que está haciendo, pero aún así me acompaño.
