Scott Galloway hält die SpaceX-Aktie trotz des Kurssturzes seit ihrem Hoch für massiv überbewertet. Der NYU-Professor und Investor sagte in einem am Montag veröffentlichten Podcast, die Aktie sei aus seiner Sicht lediglich 10 bis 30 US-Dollar wert.
Zum Börsenstart seien nur rund vier bis fünf Prozent der Aktien frei handelbar gewesen. Zusätzlich habe die schnelle Aufnahme in den Nasdaq-100 automatische Nachfrage durch indexgebundene Fonds geschaffen.
Besonders scharf fällt Galloways Urteil über Elon Musk aus. "Musk wird als der größte Ingenieur unserer Zeit in die Geschichte eingehen, allerdings als Finanzingenieur", sagte er. Er verweist dabei auch auf die Finanzierung von SpaceX: Weniger als zwei Wochen nach dem Börsengang platzierte das Unternehmen Anleihen über 25 Milliarden US-Dollar, obwohl es zuvor liquide Mittel von 100,8 Milliarden US-Dollar ausgewiesen hatte. Galloway sieht darin ein Zeichen dafür, dass Investoren zunehmend auf eine kapitalintensive KI-Infrastruktur-Story setzen.
Mit seiner Skepsis steht er nicht allein. Der frühere Fidelity-Fondsmanager George Noble bezeichnete SpaceX und Tesla als "zwei der besten Short-Kandidaten auf dem Markt" und hält bei SpaceX bis Jahresende einen Kursrückgang von bis zu 50 Prozent für möglich.
Galloway selbst will die Aktie trotzdem nicht shorten. Musks enorme Anhängerschaft und die Fähigkeit, immer neue Zukunftsprojekte zu verkaufen, könnten den Kurs jederzeit wieder treiben. "Ich würde mich nicht an diese Sache heranwagen", so Galloway.

Mein persönliches Fazit:
Kapital wird meiner Meinung nach von Spacex zu den anstehenden IPOs von Anthopics und Open AI umgeschichtet werden. Dieses Jahr ist noch nicht die Zeit um Geld zu investieren. Erst wenn sich das große Kapital ausgetobt hat kann man als kleiner Investor davon ausgehen nicht ausgeraubt zu werden.

Scott Galloway believes SpaceX stock is massively overvalued despite its recent plunge since its peak. The NYU professor and investor said in a podcast released Monday that, in his view, the stock is worth only $10 to $30.
At the IPO, only about four to five percent of the shares were freely traded. Additionally, the rapid inclusion in the Nasdaq-100 created automatic demand from index-linked funds.

Galloway himself, however, doesn't intend to short the stock. Musk's enormous following and his ability to continually sell new future projects could drive the price up again at any time. "I wouldn't dare touch that," Galloway said.

My personal conclusion:
In my opinion, capital will be diverted from SpaceX to the upcoming IPOs of Anthropics and OpenAI. This year is not the time to invest. Only after the big capital has run its course can small investors assume they won't be robbed.
