Kids In The Building-- Actifit Report Card: August 19, 2026

Wednesday was our first day with students back in the building, but not the full school. Just our new 5th graders and our transfer students came in to get a tour of the building, learn about our school culture, and give us teachers a soft launch into the real thing with a full floor of 400+ students.
That's my desk in the back corner of our 6th grade math classroom, flying my colorful Chelsea FC flag with a home blue Ecuador Moises Caicedo hanging in front. He is the boss of our midfield! And I will have a long year trying to fill the shoes of our past soccer coach. I'm taking over the full-time duties and I won't have a lot to work with this fall compared to years past. I should really focus on the math and worry about the roster in a few weeks. Lesson planning yet to get done!
