Central Park Leather -- My Actifit Report Card: September 6, 2026

Sunday arrived full of promise. Chelsea had their first big test of the EPL season away to defending champs Arsenal, so I had to pull up to The Football Factory to kick it with the New York Blues. Sadly, Chelsea couldn't hold its lead after scoring an early goal and succumbed to Arsenal's pressure and lost 2-1. We really missed our best midfield player Caicedo and our lack of depth at that position was glaring.
For consolation, I planned an afternoon date with my partner. First bagels, then a stroll through the 75th Street Sunday Bazaar, and finally a hang at out favorite tree in Central Park. She found a gorgeous iridescent leather cuffs and a one of a kind lavender leather jacket at a price too good to pass up. With these killer fashion items in the bag, we grab a quart of half sour pickles and headed over to Manhattan's Central Park.
We spent the afternoon laying by our tree and listening to the Latin drums with the view of rowboats moving through the Central Park pond. We finished the night with some pumpkin spice pudding from Magnolia Bakery and an hour subway ride home before we both melted into the pillows.
