I completed ACT 1 of the game a long time ago and now I am nearly finished with ACT 2 as well. In Act 2, I have completed two important missions. One was to contact the Shogun and secure reinforcements from him, and the other was to persuade the people of Yarikawa to join me in the fight. Both of these missions have already been completed.
Now, only one mission remains. "Claim Your Family Armor." In other words, I need to collect the old family armor of Jin Sakai, the armor his father used to wear. To do that, I have to go to Omi Village.
Omi Village is actually Jin Sakai's own home, his true birthplace. And Omi Village was about one and a half kilometers away from where I was. I fast travel to a nearby temple. From there, I set out again towards Omi Village.
On my way, I spotted a beautiful temple surrounded by a bamboo grove. The place felt so serene and peaceful that, at first, I didn't realize what was actually happening there.
But as soon as I stepped inside, I saw people running about in a panic. I realized that Mongol soldiers were attacking the place and slaughtering innocent people. Without a moment's hesitation, I engaged them in battle.
These Mongol soldiers were stronger than many I had faced before. They were attacking me aggressively, so I had to be very cautious when engaging them in direct combat.
I managed to steady myself and began using various gadgets, the smoke bombs and kunai were proving to be very effective.
I finish off all the Mongol soldiers one by one. Even after killing them all, I still couldn't quite grasp what was actually happening here or why I had fought these soldiers in the first place.
Just then, a familiar face appears. It is none other than Norio. Those of you who watched my Act 1 gameplay surely remember Norio. He is a warrior monk and a formidable fighter in battle.
Norio then informed me that they were stationed here and fully prepared to join the battle alongside Jin Sakai. This means the reinforcements we had been waiting for all this time have finally arrived.
After farewell to Norio, I set off once more towards Omi Village. I came across several beautiful spots. I was particularly struck by the large white flowers growing by the roadside, so I stopped to take a few photos.
Just then, I encountered a group of Mongol soldiers. As soon as they spotted me, they charged to attack. I didn't back down. I launched a counterattack and took them all out, one by one.
The road and the surrounding areas began to feel familiar. Jin was returning home after many years. On the way, I spotted a small, beautiful waterfall. The spot was so lovely that I stopped to take a picture.
Then, I finally arrived near Omi Village. The sight of the village from a distance filled me with delight. I took a photo from the outside before entering.
After a long time, Jin Sakai has returned home to his own lands.
