The Beauty of Silent Places

Standing at the entrance of this bamboo bridge, I couldn't see where it truly ended. Trees swallowed the horizon, and every step forward revealed only another few meters of path.
It reminded me of life.
We spend so much time worrying about destinations that we forget the only part we can actually control—the next step.
Even though it was a very sunny day, the dense mangroves meant that sunlight could only peek out. This quiet atmosphere is full of mystery, but it makes you curious.
Various questions arise in my heart. Is this bridge safe to cross? What's at the end of this bridge? Do I dare to cross this bridge alone in the middle of a mangrove forest?
Just like the questions that arise when we start something. We will never know what we will encounter at the end of the journey. We also don't know whether we will reach our destination or will reach a dead end at the end.
So, will we continue to move forward bravely even though we don't know what awaits at the end of the road?
I took this photo in the mangrove forest on Telaga Waja beach - Benoa - Bali several months ago while accompanying my wife to attend her office activities. This is my entry for the PhotoFeed Contest - Black & White Photography Round 185
