Versos del camino

Las calles me regalan su sorpresa,
las sombras que persigo con afán,
mientras comparto un café en la mesa
y el sol calienta el fuego y el sartén.
Qué lindo es recordar esos momentos
viajando con amigos y familia,
el festival, la carpa y los conciertos,
la risa que las penas nos concilia.
La vida avanza y pide ir con calma,
comiendo con paciencia y sin culpas,
llenando de recuerdos sanos el alma
y dando a los errores las disculpas.
El día termina gris y me descansa,
después de tanta carga y caminata;
ver el refugio lleno me da fianza
mientras la noche el sueño desbarata.
The streets bestow their sudden sweet surprise, the fleeting shadows that I chase with care, while morning coffee starts to clear my eyes, and warming sunlight fills the heavy air.
How beautiful to think of moments passed, with friends and family on the open road, the festival and tents, a bond to last, where laughter lightens every heavy load.
As life moves on, it asks to slow the pace, to eat with patience, leaving guilt behind, to fill the soul with memories and grace, and be to every past mistake more kind.
The gloomy day now ends and brings release, after the heavy walks and chores are done; seeing the shelter full brings steady peace, as gentle sleep awaits the setting sun.
