Jesus became human so He could fully understand what it means to live as a man and competently represent us before God in His kingdom.
Because He experienced every human struggle, He can relate with your challenges and intercede for you as a merciful and faithful High Priest. This is why you can boldly approach the throne of grace to receive help in times of need:
Hebrews 4:16 - “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need”
Another reason Jesus became human is to assure us that, even as humans, we can overcome sin, the devil and the world. Apostle Paul differentiated two men in 1 Corinthians 15: 21 - 22: The first Adam, who brought death, and the second Adam, being Jesus Christ, who brings life. Because Jesus faced the same temptations as Adam and overcame them, we too, as believers, can tread in victory over sin.
