Topic Review: How many times do we need to study the Word of God?

God expects us to read, study, meditate on, believe and act upon His Word. As Scripture says, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God” (Matthew 4: 4). God’s Word is not the word of man; it is consistent, reliable, and trustworthy.
Some of these icons of faith keyed into God’s promises and experienced blessings, while others faced suffering and even death because of their faith. Some were sawn into two, others endured torture rather than renounce their faith. Yet, the bible honors them all as people of faith. Their outcomes may have differed, but their dedication to God was the same.
Faith, therefore, does not guarantee immediate gratification, it demands trust, perseverance and obedience. What matters is being counted as a person of faith, regardless what the outcome may be.
May God help us to live as men and women of faith, committed to His Word, trusting that He will bring to fulfillment His promises in His perfect timing.
