The Main Benefit From Posting On The Hive Blockchain Is Free Speech

Many people sign up for a Hive account with the ambitions of becoming rich. I hope those people realize their goals. However, my main reason and what could constitute anyone's main benefit from being able to post on the Hive blockchain, especially the PeakD writing platform, is free speech - a right that many Americans value.
Explore other writing platforms, social-media platforms, and the likes where you can post articles, videos, and/or comments, and you'll discover that you may find that rags-to-riches experience that many people seek; but you'll likely be limited in what you can post, especially if you're dealing with picky advertisers. Many profit-sharing writing platforms care more about profit than they do about freedom of speech.
YouTube will look for whatever reason they can find to kick you off their platform no matter how ridiculous it is. You won't encounter those kinds of problems here on the Hive blockchain. Also, I am someone who absolutely hates being silenced. I have published many articles on both the Hive-Blog writing platform and the PeakD writing platform that I would not have been allowed to do so elsewhere on the Internet. It's that simple.
I realize that I have published articles about some of the most controversial subjects out there on both my Hive-Blog channel and my PeakD channel; but I feel that as long as I am not hurting anyone, I have the right to get my voice heard. I can understand all writing platforms have to set at least some kind of boundaries on what can be published on them. Nobody should be posting instructions on how to join the Taliban or the likes. However, challenging societal norms is what allows many of us to get things off our chests.
Not too long ago, former presidential candidate and Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard had warned others about the problems that will ensue if the Congress is allowed to push a law that would ban all hate speech. The fact of the matter is that such a law could be so broadly interpreted that it could infringe upon our First-Amendment rights under the United States Constitution. Therefore, Ms. Gabbard has her head in the right place. Below is a video of her speaking about it.

I admit that I have used some harsh language in my articles against radical feminists, but it is only because these same radical feminists have strived to send innocent men to prison for whatever ludicrous reason; and I find these women's behavior completely unacceptable. It doesn't mean that I am a misogynist. I am not, and I could never be friends with a misogynist either.
I suspect that many of these radical feminists either have no son at all or they have no men or boys in their families to whom they are close. Therefore, they find it easy to get a natural high from seeing tragic events happen to men.
I admit that I have made some harsh statements about religion in my articles. However, I've only done so inasmuch as I don't feel that religious fanatics have the right to interfere with the advancement of medical science and medical technology. People like me that don't share their beliefs shouldn't have to suffer from their agendas whenever they shove them down everybody's throats.
If one day I do become a heavy hitter here on the Hive blockchain, I will welcome such an accomplishment. However, I will only welcome it provided that I don't have to sacrifice my freedom of speech in the process. Being able to have a say about something is much more important than the money itself.
Next year will mark my tenth anniversary for having been on the Hive blockchain. Once it happens, I will only wish for another ten years of expressing my free speech here on this writing platform in the form of articles and comments to other Hivers' articles and comments.
Like the most of you, I started out on the Steemit website. However, after things began to go sour on Steemit, I went ahead and became active on the Hive blockchain. Once Steemit started allowing advertisements on their platform, I became concerned about whether that platform was going to continue to respect free speech or cater to the usually unreasonable demands of advertisers.
Luckily, the Hive blockchain has not allowed advertisers to take it over. Let's all pray and hope that it stays that way indefinitely. Advertisers have not yet acquired enough of an open mind to wrap their heads around some of the controversial articles and comments that I have posted on both my Hive-Blog channel and my PeakD channel.
