What is happening to the women providing voiceovers in advertisements and commercials on television, YouTube, and other similar social media platforms? They sound more and more unbearable to hear as time moves on. Could it be affirmative action that forces us to endure the awful sounds of their voices? Most of the male voiceovers don't sound this way in advertisements and commercials.
We start with the Kraft Parmesan Cheese commercial. The female voiceover in this commercial sounds as though she has a large reptile living in her throat. Watch it below if you can force yourself to hear her voice.

Is this woman dead or alive? If anything grotesque beyond the grave could sound so pitifully cringy, this woman does. Where did these advertisers find her? Aren't they worried about how viewers listening to her are going to drive down profits for them?

The female voiceover in the above commercial has a voice that rattles like something out of a scary movie that has tentacles and insect antennas. Let's be glad that she never pursued a career as a singer. She shouldn't even be working as a voiceover in any kind of advertisements or commercials. She sounds as though she's getting ready to barf every time she opens her mouth. She makes me want a barf bag every time I hear her opening her mouth. Ahhhh!!!!

The next commercial has the most deplorable female voiceover in it out of all four of the ones embedded herein. The female voiceover in the advertisement below not only has a fast yippy-yappy voice that gets under your skin, but her voice is also full of vocal fry, which makes it even more unbearable to listen to than anything.
If the female voiceover in the commercial above belongs to a real woman, this is the kind of woman you'd never want to sit at your table in the office cafeteria during lunch. After listening to it, you will be psychologically scarred for life.

Who told any of the female voiceovers in the four advertisements above that they had professional voices? The comments sections to the first three videos are even turned off, because probably YouTube knows exactly what people would post; and it wouldn't be anything positive about these female voiceovers. Be glad that all four advertisements above are short. You've likely had to suffer through at least one of them before coming to my article here.
Do the voices of all four female voiceovers above belong to real women or are they generated by artificial intelligence ("AI-generated")? You would think that even digital computer technology would deliver a better performance of female voiceovers than the ones heard in the above four advertisements in that event. Have these advertisers no shame?
There are ways to cut out all the pesky and intellectually bankrupt advertisements and commercials from YouTube videos and the likes on the Internet. However, I don't know of any way to do so on television, unless you watch only cable channels like HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, The Movie Channel, and the likes.
Television commercials used to be entertaining and fun to watch when I was a little kid, but now it seems as though the type of female voiceovers that you hear in them like the ones above likely corrode the minds of innocent little children. They direly need to be taken off the air, or the advertisers need to find better female voiceovers than what they have been using in advertisements and commercials lately. These bimbos will give everyone brain damage after so long. They're noise nuisances at best.
I'm not being a misogynist. I'm only being brutally honest. If these female voiceovers don't sound like the ones above, then they usually have a shrill voice that eats away at your nervous system. Either that or they barely sound human. Something needs to be done about them, and advertisers hold the solution if they're willing to use it. Replace these female voiceovers with professional ones. Problem solved.
Even serial killers would run away from the women serving as voiceovers in the four advertisements above. YUCK! Rescue my sanity, please! Could these female voiceovers sound any more horrible than they already do, or need I ask? I know I present myself as a cruel critic, but I think I have the right to comment about commercials and advertisements that get thrown at me about every day. They simply suck.
