This past evening I was watching a video on YouTube that criticized Dr. Jordan Peterson for pressuring American men to get married and start a family. The video mostly made sense, because I don't believe that anyone should get married and start a family by a certain age because of societal pressures. Below is that same video.

Where I do have a problem with this video is when the male voiceover demonizes people having gotten married at 13 years old in years past. I don't think anyone should be getting married and starting a family by any kind of deadline. However, by the same token, I don't condone government overreach to prevent teenagers from getting married before they're legally old enough to vote either.
Ladies and gentlemen? This topic has me extremely angry. Only two days after I published my article titled "[Together Let's Defeat The Child Marriage Prevention Act Of 2024!](https://peakd.com/news/@epicenterdefacto/together-lets-defeat-the-child-marriage-prevention-act-of-2024)," a Democrat Congresswoman named Gwen Moore from Wisconsin introduced the Child Marriage Prevention Act of 2026 to the Congress. She did so with the support of U.S. House Representative Danny Davis of Illinois as well as U.S. House Representative Raja Krishnamoorthi of Wisconsin. (Is Mr. Krishnamoothi even an American?)
Luckily, the American Civil Liberties Union is fighting against this same bill tooth and nail. None of the Republican delegates in the United States House of Representatives are supporting it. However, we have to remember that the national midterm elections are coming up this November. Therefore, I am depending on all of you to do whatever you have to do to get this same bill defeated before it has a chance to cause damage.
I don't know much about Ms. Moore, Mr. Davis, or Mr. Krishnamoorthi; but if you live in Wisconsin, then you need to vote Ms. Moore and Mr. Kirshnamoorthi out of office. If you live in Illinois, you need to vote Mr. Davis out of office.
Now, don't get me wrong. I don't like the adverse impact that the One Big, Beautiful Bill is going to have on our public healthcare system here in the United States once it goes into full effect next year. The Republicans on Capitol Hill made sure that that same bill got to President Donald J. Trump's desk so that he could sign it into law.
Nevertheless, the Child Marriage Prevention Act of 2026 must never be signed into law or all chaos is going to break loose. It's not specifically to stop small children under 11 years of age from getting married. It's waging war against teenage sex and attempting to remove the legality from teenage sex. For those same reasons, I will likely be voting for all Republican candidates in the national midterm elections here in the United States
A similar bill is currently on its way to California Governor Gavin Newsom for approval, and already I can sense the dramatic spike in cop killers in the Golden State if that bill ever gets signed into law. That same state jurisdiction is already experiencing a problem with the police maintaining law and order there.
Fraidy Reiss of Unchained At Last is a misandrist, and she is dead set on ensuring that American men of all ages get needlessly locked up in prison for one reason or another. She has no sons, so she doesn't care what happens to these men. She believes that every man who disagrees with her is a "creep." Wow! How her kind absolutely love that same word "creep."
When hotheaded self-appointed child advocates and the likes throw around words like "pedophile," "pedophilia," and the likes, you have to question whether these individuals have looked up the real definition of those terms in the Fifth Edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders ("DSM-5") or if these same people even know what that publication is. It makes it no mystery that our nation has a 21 percent illiteracy rate and that 54 percent of Americans read below the third grade level.
With all these same people's propaganda, they have turned pedophilia from a mere psychiatric disorder into a bogus conspiracy theory. These self-righteous do-gooders are simply not right in their heads.
I've already read the Child Marriage Prevention Act of 2026, and it contains the same garbage that the Child Marriage Prevention Act of 2024 does. Because the Tahirih Justice Center crafted this same bill, they should be stripped of their Federal tax exemption status under 26 U.S.C. § 501(c)(3), because they are not supposed to participate in legislation according to that same statutory code.
I'm not going to go into all the nitty-gritty about this same bill. I did so in my article about the 2024 version of it; so if you want to delve into that nitty-gritty, you're free to read that same article of mine. What I'm going to do is elaborate on some of my strong concerns about it instead.
1. Courtney Stodden's Involvement In Legislation Against Teenage Marriage
Recently I came across a video in which Courtney Stodden is launching some kind of campaign against underage marriage. I think that she is making a big mistake in doing so.
Whether or not a teenager can legally get married in our nation before they're old enough to vote in an election should not be up to the elected officials of our nation but rather the decision of voters. I am completely on board with elected officials introducing referendums to the voters to decide this matter on a state level, but I don't approve of government overreach. I also don't condone our Federal government infringing upon the sovereignty of our state jurisdictions.
As for Ms. Stodden's allegedly topsy-turvy marriage to an older man when she was 16 years old, let me say that there are two sides to every story. Therefore, I believe that her ex-husband Doug Hutchison should also be heard. The late Nelly Rivas was 14 years old when she fell in love with the late Argentine president Juan Perón, who was in his late fifties, and vice versa back in the 1950s, and she had no problem with him. Then again, they never had the opportunity to marry each other because of detrimental political events in their nation.
In any event, here is the video below of Ms. Stodden speaking to the nation. She is opening herself up to major problems by trusting men-hating radical feminists like Fraidy Reiss of Unchained At Last and Jeanne Smoot of the Tahirih Justice Center. I honestly do not believe that Mr. Hutchison manipulated her or harmed her in any manner.

I believe that it is a double standard that in certain states like New York, a 16- and 17-year-old minor can be tried as an adult for a crime or even automatically gets tried as one, whereas they cannot legally marry until the age of 18 in that same state jurisdiction. It's as though law-enforcement officials love these double standards in our state laws so that they can have their cake and eat it too. For these reasons, people are losing trust in the police and others like them.
Of course, all the men-hating misandrists came out of the woodwork in the video above and insulted and belittled Mr. Hutchison. Then, of course, if their 15-year-old sons go running around their neighborhoods, getting every 12- and 13-year-old girl pregnant and mistreating them, their favorite line is, "Why is it always the boy's fault?"
Sorry, Ms. Stodden, but I will not buy into the crap that considers teenage sex to be a form of child molestation. Once the Child Marriage Prevention Act of 2026 becomes a law, our nation is going to be taking itself back to the days of the Salem witch trials; and there will be no coming back from that vortex.
If you have followed me for a long time here on this same writing platform, you'll likely notice that I've published articles about Ms. Stodden and Mr. Hutchison back when their marriage was going smoothly and they were defending it against the harsh criticism of all the little minds that wish to absorb everyone into their make-believe world of age-appropriate perfection and wholesome purity.
Chris Hansen is not a hero or any kind of guru. He's a criminal, a cult leader, and a dangerous influencer who wants to pull our entire nation downward to its final destruction. Now, because of him, there are copycats who are domestic terrorists at best. Of course, that's another article for another time.
The problem I'm having with Ms. Stodden's use of the term "groom" and the likes is that that same word has been given so many different definitions that it is difficult to take it seriously anymore. The fact of the matter is that Ms. Stodden and Mr. Hutchison were subjected to many social pressures after they tied the knot a little over a decade ago, whereas Bo Derek and John Derek didn't confront those same social pressures when they tied the knot years before then.
Ms. Stodden and Mr. Hutchison couldn't handle the social pressures of being in an age-gap marriage in which one spouse was below 18 years of age at its ouset, and it destroyed their marriage. It doesn't mean that their marriage was wrong.
My response to Kelley L. Carter's remark about people feeling cringy about Ms. Stodden's marriage to Mr. Hutchison is that those people obviously have deep-seated insecurities about their own sexuality. I would much prefer to have Mr. Hutchison as my next-door neighbor than Levi Johnston, because if anyone is a pervert, it's Levi Johnston rather than Mr. Hutchison.
The fact of the matter is these crusaders against teenage marriage sparked by their war on sex are gradually turning our nation into a maximum security prison. It's going to get to the point that we will be voting to elect a prison warden every four years to occupy the White House instead of a president if we let these radical feminists gain full control over our domestic policies.
2. Proof In The Pudding Against Legislation For A Blanket Ban Of Marriage Before Age 18
One night as I was viewing various YouTube videos, I came across one very interesting video from a woman named Susie Rempel. She became pregnant at the age of 13 and had a baby at 14 years old. How old was her boyfriend when she became pregnant? He was 18 years old. Yes, you got it. She was 13 years old and he was 18 years old when she became pregnant with his baby. Before I give you any more details about her story, watch her video below.

Ms. Rempel is now married to the father of her baby. She is now 18 years old, and I assume that he would be 23 years old. She and her husband are both Mennonites. And, yes, I realize that I am an agnostic, and I don't normally defend religious people; but this young lady deserves to be defended by anyone of any faith or of no faith at all. She's a brave woman.
Ms. Rempel currently lives in Texas. I don't know where she was living when she became pregnant with her first child at age 13. After she told her parents about that pregnancy, she discussed with them about getting married to the father of her baby. This point in time would have been after many state jurisdictions had placed a blanket ban on underage marriage. Then again, perhaps she and her husband lived on a compound that was not readily accessible to the state police.
The point I wish to make here is that Ms. Rempel's parents could have pressed criminal charges against her husband. Her husband could be sitting in a state correctional facility now, worrying about whether or not he is going to make it into the next day without someone harming him.
Nevertheless, Ms. Rempel's parents decided not to bring the authorities into the picture. Instead, they allowed her to marry the father of her firstborn child and build a life with him. Now, three babies later, she and her husband are happily married and have a bright future together.
Ms. Rempel's true story in her video above provides all the more reasons why radical feminists like Fraidy Reiss, Jeanne Smoot, and others like them should not be permitted to tamper with our nation's marriage laws pertaining to juveniles and why "statutory rape" should not be a strict-liability offense. Shame on Ms. Reiss, Ms. Smoot, Cassandra Levesque, and others like them for threatening couples like Ms. Rempel and her husband with nonsensical sex laws and ridiculous blanket bans on teenage marriage.
The problem with our society is that every time anyone gets wind of a story like that of Ms. Rempel, they get these horrendous images in their heads of people like David Eisenhauer. If you don't know who David Eisenhauer is, he was an 18-year-old man who murdered a 13-year-old girl named Nicole Lovell after he had sexual intercourse with her and she had threatened to out him to the world if he broke off their relationship in light of a pregnancy scare. These same events took place back in 2016.
Radical feminists like Ms. Reiss, Ms. Smoot, and others like them know that they can play on the fears and the insecurities of American people who choose to think the worse of couples in which the girl is 13, 14, or 15 years old and the boyfriend is five or more years older than her. They know what makes weak-minded people tick, and the prison-industrial complex knows which elected officials they can bribe to push harsh sex laws and unreasonable marriage laws pertaining to juveniles here in our nation.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize what is going on with our society and how elected officials are taking us closer and closer to becoming a Fascist totalitarian police state. The only thing standing between us and this awful fate is President Trump. He has the ability to veto the Child Marriage Prevention Bill of 2026, and he should do so. Of course, he needs for us to contact him and ask him to do so after clicking on this same [link](https://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/).
It is obvious that President Trump doesn't like this same bill. If enough of us contact him and ask him to veto it, he will likely hear our cries for him to do so. Of course, after 2028 arrives, we have to prepare ourselves to vote another president into the White House who will stand behind his course of action in that event. Unfortunately, President Trump will not be able to run for reelection two years from now. However, he will occupy the White House until January 20, 2029, and that's a good thing.
Also, don't be afraid to write to your elected officials on Capitol Hill and tell them that you want them to vote against this same bill. If they receive enough letters from those of us who oppose this bill, they will likely take our views into consideration even if they do not share those same views with us. Remember that they work for us rather than the other way around.
3. Evidence Of Insincerity On The Part Of Opponents To Teenage Marriage
One of the biggest falsehoods onto which these hothead self-proclaimed child advocates latch is that teenage minors have such a difficult time or nearly an impossible time getting legally divorced from their adult spouses if they wish to leave the marriage. At the same time, these same social-justice warriors contradict themselves without even realizing it.
A good example of this same point I'm making is that in the text of the Child Marriage Prevention Act of 2026, it reads:
> Seventy to 80 percent of marriages entered into when at least one person is under 18 years of age ultimately end in divorce.
If these underage marriages have such a high divorce rate, how is it that the underage spouses in them experience such a difficult time getting out of them? Both of these so-called findings cannot be correct.
These social-justice warriors have even gone as far as claiming that no minor can file for a divorce without their adult spouse's permission. I'm sure that if a judge sees that the adult spouse is mistreating the underage spouse, that judge will issue a court order to allow the minor to get his or her divorce in that event.
We should not trust anything that these supporters of the Child Marriage Prevention Act of 2026 have to say, because they can't even differentiate between fact and fiction. They will say or do anything to further their agenda no matter how dishonest they have to get.
