Día lluvioso de Arte y Heladito || Rainy Day of Art and Ice Cream ♥

¡Hola Chicos!
Hoy les contaré como estuvo una de las jornadas laborales de esta semana que nos sorprendió con lluvia y más lluvia jajaja
El día miércoles teníamos planificado salir a comer helados mi hijo y yo, aprovechando que me tocaba ir a dar clases por la tarde, lo llevé conmigo al local para luego irnos hasta la heladería al salir, ese era nuestro plan.
Antes de dar la clase, necesitaba ir a comprar unas cositas, pero un tiempo de lluvia repentino retrasó un poco nuestra salida de casa.

Today I'll tell you about one of this week's workdays, which surprised us with rain and more rain, haha.
On Wednesday, my son and I had planned to go out for ice cream. Since I had to teach classes in the afternoon, I took him with me to the ice cream shop so we could go to the ice cream parlor afterward. That was our plan.
Before teaching, I needed to buy a few things, but a sudden downpour delayed our departure a bit.
Comenzó a llover fuertemente y por un momento pensé que no podría salir a dar mi clase, pero por suerte solo fueron 15 minutos de lluvia intensa y a lo que vimos que comenzó a parar salimos de casa.
Esto resultó toda una travesía porque todas las calles si inundan y obvio no queríamos mojar nuestros zapatos. Así que nos fuimos por las calles que tienen muritos en la carretera (policías acostados), que hizo que demoráramos un poco más de tiempo, pero logramos llegar a la avenida y tomar el transporte a tiempo para llegar a la clase.
It started to rain heavily, and for a moment I thought I wouldn't be able to get to my class, but luckily it was only 15 minutes of intense rain, and as soon as we saw it starting to let up, we left the house.
This turned out to be quite an ordeal because all the streets flooded, and obviously we didn't want to get our shoes wet. So we took the streets with speed bumps, which made it take us a little longer, but we managed to get to the main avenue and catch the bus in time for class.
Al llegar al local comenzamos con las clases de crochet y de arte. Mi hijo me estuvo ayudando a acomodar unas cositas y luego se integró a las clases con el resto de las chicas.
En un momento miré para afuera del local y vi un tiempo de lluvia horrible que se estaba formando. Cuando llovió por la casa no había llovido en Cabimas, ni siquiera habían nubes cerca, y ese tiempo apareció igual que en la casa, de repente.
When we arrived at the studio, we started the crochet and art classes. My son helped me set things up and then joined the classes with the rest of the girls.
At one point, I looked outside and saw a terrible downpour developing. When it rained outside the studio, it hadn't rained in Cabimas yet; there weren't even any clouds nearby. And then the rain appeared just like it had outside, suddenly.
Ya se estaba terminando la hora de la clase y por suerte todos habían avanzado bastante en sus obras. Fue entonces cuando se nos fue la electricidad y quedamos a oscuras. Les dije que recogieran sus cosas y esperamos en el pasillo a que los fueran a buscar a todos.
Disfrutamos ese rato diferente frente al local viendo a la gente corriendo mojada, la brisa y la corriente que se formó en la carretera por tanta agua.
Ahora el problema era como nos íbamos a ir del centro y llegar a la heladería. Por suerte pregunté a una representante para ver si nos llevaba a un sitio para tomar transporte y ella que se ofreció a dejarnos frente a la heladería.
Class was almost over, and luckily everyone had made good progress on their projects. That's when the power went out, leaving us in the dark. I told them to gather their things, and we waited in the hallway until someone came to get everyone.
We enjoyed that unusual time outside the shop, watching people running around in the rain, feeling the breeze, and seeing the current that had formed on the road from all the water.
Now the problem was how we were going to get out of the city center and to the ice cream shop. Luckily, I asked a representative if she could give us a ride to a place where we could catch a ride, and she offered to drop us off right in front of the ice cream shop.
Adivinen... no había electricidad en la heladería jajaja en un principio pensaba que estaba cerrada pero al ver a las personas entrar me di cuenta que si estaban abiertos pero sin luz.
Aún así entramos, pedimos y nos sentamos a esperar nuestro helado.
Guess what... there was no electricity at the ice cream shop! Haha. At first, I thought it was closed, but when I saw people going in, I realized they were open, just without power.
Even so, we went in, ordered, and sat down to wait for our ice cream.
En esta heladería tienen promoción todas las semanas, y en esta ocasión la promoción era el sabor Nutella. Así que pedimos un vaso mediano para los dos para probar a ver que tal. Es nuestra primera vez comiendo estos helados, por eso no me quise arriesgar, pues no sabía si eran buenos y tampoco el tamaño de la porción.
Quedamos bien, pero con ganas de más jaja pero por la hora (que ya eran las 7 pm) no daba tiempo para comer otro. Así que decidimos volver otro día con más tiempo y esperamos que a la próxima si haya electricidad para vivir la experiencia completa.
At this ice cream shop they have a promotion every week, and this time the promotion was the Nutella flavor. So we ordered a medium glass for both of us to try and see how it goes. It's our first time eating these ice creams, so I didn't want to risk it, because I didn't know if they were good or the size of the portion.
We were good, but wanting more haha but due to the time (which was already 7 pm) there was no time to eat another one. So we decided to return another day with more time and we hope that next time there will be electricity to live the full experience.
Así terminó nuestro día lluvioso, pero divertido. Esperamos pronto volver a la heladería y así poder compartir bien con ustedes como es el espacio. Gracias por acompañarnos en una aventura más. ♥
