¡Hola Chicos!
Hace un tiempo les compartí lo que fue el primer encargo que tuve de una franela pintada a mano. En un principio esto me dió un poco de miedo porque se trataba de una franela blanca y acá no hay mucho margen de error.
Por suerte todo salió súper bien, tanto que esto dio pie a dos encargos más. Esta vez eran dos franelas, una blanca y una negra.
Hoy les compartiré la que fue para mi la más sencilla de pintar, la blanca. Como ya había pintado una sabía cual era la mejor forma de abordarla.
Ambos diseños que me pasaron estaban hechos con IA, y saben como es esto, no siempre las cosas van a quedar exactamente igual, pero tratamos siempre de hacerlo lo más similar posible, pues es lo que pidió el cliente.

A while ago I shared my first commission for a hand-painted t-shirt. At first, I was a little nervous because it was a white t-shirt, and there's not much room for error there.
Luckily, everything went really well, so much so that it led to two more commissions. This time it was two t-shirts, one white and one black.
Today I'll share the one that was the easiest for me to paint, the white one. Since I had already painted one, I knew the best way to approach it.
Both designs I received were created with AI, and you know how it is, things don't always turn out exactly the same, but we always try to make them as similar as possible, since that's what the client requested.
El diseño era de flores y hojas. Primero tracé todo en una hoja para crear la plantilla de cada flor y hoja, y luego la pasé a la franela.
Una vez hecho esto, reforcé las líneas con el lápiz para que fueran más visibles porque estaban un poco claras.
Pinté todo poco a poco y una vez había terminado que ví el diseño, me pareció que se veía algo vacío. Las hojas que había hecho y las líneas estaban pequeñas y muy finas.
Así que tomé los pinceles nuevamente y reforcé todo para que hiciera mucho más completo. La verdad me gustó más el resultado una vez hice todo un poco más grande.
The design was of flowers and leaves. First, I traced everything onto a sheet of paper to create a template for each flower and leaf, and then I transferred it to the flannel.
Once that was done, I reinforced the lines with a pencil to make them more visible because they were a bit light.
I painted everything little by little, and once I had finished and saw the design, it seemed a bit empty to me. The leaves I had drawn and the lines were small and very thin.
So I picked up the brushes again and reinforced everything to make it much fuller. I actually liked the result much better.
Solo restaba pintar una flor que estaba ubicada en el hombro derecho y así finalicé la franela. A esta no le tomé unas fotos más decentes del resultado final pues pensaba hacerlo en el local antes de entregarlas y pues no quedaron tan bien como esperaba.
En general siento que me fue bien durante el proceso. Hay cosas que aún debo perfeccionar con respecto a la pintura sobre tela, pero para ser de mis primeras veces siento que me fue bien.
En los próximos post les enseñaré el gran reto con este pedido, la franela negra que me dejó bastantes enseñanzas.
All that was left was to paint a flower on the right shoulder, and that finished the flannel shirt. I didn't take better photos of the final result because I planned to do it at the shop before delivering them, and they didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped.
Overall, I feel the process went well. There are still things I need to improve regarding painting on fabric, but for one of my first times, I think it went well.
In the next posts, I'll show you the big challenge of this order: the black flannel shirt, which taught me a lot.
