Streetart in Bogotá. Carlos Trilleras (es/en)

Hello, urban art enthusiasts. As usual, I’ve got a new discovery for you, and this time it’s in Bogotá (Colombia), in a neighbourhood called La Candelaria, where the capital city was founded.
Whilst strolling through its narrow streets, I came across this beautiful and colourful mural by the renowned Colombian artist and muralist Carlos Sánchez, known as Carlos Trilleras.
As I gazed at this work, I felt a strong connection to the indigenous mysticism of the South American peoples, surrounded by jungle, animals and plenty of water.
This design pays tribute to the rich, ancient indigenous culture and its biodiversity.
This painting brings together all the key elements, such as the vibrant colours that characterise the Amazon, where red, yellow and blue strokes creatively frame this indigenous woman alongside these birds symbolic of the jungle.
Whilst doing some research, I learnt that this mural is part of Bogotá Bici Tours, which organises a cycle tour covering much of the city to showcase these urban artists and also promote tourism in a very creative way.

spanish Hola amigos de streetart como de costumbre traigo un nuevo hallazgo y está vez es en Bogotá Colombia, en un lugar llamado la Candelaria, donde nació esta cuidad Capital.
Al caminar por sus estrechas calles me encontré con este hermoso y colorido mural del reconocido artista y muralista Colombiano Carlos Sánchez conocido como Carlos Trilleras
Al mirar esta obra me conecte muchísimo con el místicismo indígena de los pueblos suraméricanos que están rodeados de selva, animales y mucha agua.
Este diseño rinde un homenaje a la riqueza cultural y milenaria indígena y su biodiversidad.
Está pintura reúne todos los elementos principales como los colores vibrantes que componen la amazonia donde los trazos rojo, amarillo y azul a esta mujer indígena enmarcando de forma creativa estás aves símbolicas de la selva.
Al investigar supe que esté mural forma parte del Bogotá bici tours, donde se realiza un recorrido en bicicleta por gran parte de la cuidad para dar a conocer a estos artistas urbanos y también impulsar de manera muy creativa el turismo.
