Life is Strange: Reunion – ABRAXAS HOUSE Mission Walkthrough (Gameplay Part 14)

As happiness and peaceful moments don't last forever in games like Life is Strange, it was about time to see Chloe and Max get back into business.

However, the gameplay that I will share through this post takes the overall story of the game to a weird place, to say the least, still remaining my strangest experience while playing these games. And, believe me when I say that I've seen quite a few!

To not make this intro any longer, the playthrough focuses on Max and Chloe's experience getting into the Abraxas House, where Max managed to enter the house from the first moment since she had a mask, but still needs to look out for possible situations to obtain an extra one for Chloe so she could infiltrate as well without gaining too much attention. Because, as you might have guessed already, the mask was a must have for anyone attending the party.

Anyway, even if I usually interpret the word ' party ' differently, thinking of having fun, listening to music and meeting your friends, this moment in the game felt anything but that. More like strange, dangerous, creepy and pretty much like a place where nothing follows the normal course of events.

Along with the conversations that needed to be made, which brought me back to the tension and pressure of picking the best options, it constantly felt like there was some danger just around the corner or that some weird things would happen no matter what choices I'd have made, since the environment felt really disorienting and hard to keep up with.

Therefore, I dare to say that the overall moment in the game felt more like a ritual or a gathering of people with weird habits, which created lots of confusion instead of finding clues and more answers to my questions.

Sadly, things don't slow down when Chloe makes it inside the house and then to the basement, as she finds something rather odd in a treasure (not revealing the spoiler!), then risks her life, and then finds Max in a pretty weird situation, putting her in danger as well.

I am still curious how things would have played out for Chloe if I had made different choices than the ones I did in my gameplay, as the basement is what actually shapes this walkthrough, even if the Abraxas House is not too safe either. But what I am trying to say is that we all know that the perfect words for the Life is Strange games are chaos and strange, so the moments of actual danger and seeing the main characters risk their lives are definitely taken to the next level.

Hence, it was, I believe, the first moment in this game so far when things were left unsolved, with lots of confusion, lives put on risk, and a mystery that only got deeper instead of seeing a bit of light at the end of the tunnel.

Do you believe there would have been a chance to see things have a better turnaround? What choices would you have made differently from mine? Don't hesitate to let me know!
