With the last two or three gameplays, it felt like it was about time to get one of these moments that offer you a bit of peace and more of Max and Chloe moments.
Hence, today's video is quite short and with not much going on, but it is definitely very emotional and loaded with interesting conversation between Max and Chloe while enjoying a boat ride.
But along with the conversations of all kinds, there is also tenderness, romance, and intimacy between the two, which marked the Life is Strange series of games through their complicated love story, perspectives and decisions made when it comes to such personal moments.

The quiet moment on the boat felt even more magical, seeing things slow down for a bit and disconnect from protests, difficult people, threats, Overligh and all kinds of difficult situations the game got us used to so far. It actually felt really nice seeing a conversation flow naturally without feeling the pressure on what dialogue option I should pick next, without risking anything, even if there still is a bit of pressure with Chloe wanting to get closer to Max, while Max thought from the beginning of the game that it's best for them to stay on separate paths.
Don't worry, there is not the kind of romance or intimacy one usually meets in games, as the Life is Strange series of games always did a great job keeping things minimal with this purpose, yet gives people the feeling of what happens. It might be because we are speaking about a queer couple and there are still people who find this difficult to watch, but as a straight person, I can say that I absolutely loved the emotion felt in this episode, and I think there are rare chances to see other couples beat the story and emotion created by Max and Chloe in these games.
The critical decision needed to be made in this video, though, is whether to make Max kiss Chloe or just hold hands. Personally, I picked the kiss option which I am sure Chloe would have loved to finally see happening, but it turned out not to be the best choice since it led to a weird situation with the boat.
However, as Max can rewind time, I took advantage of this moment to do it and then pick the hold hands option, which was really smooth and nice. In fact, I have no doubts that the kiss option is going to happen sometime soon, since Max decided to finally open up and let Chloe get closer to her.
