Life is Strange: Reunion – EVIDENCE SORTING Mission Walkthrough (Gameplay Part 16)

Hey there!

It's been a long way so far, but I think we can finally say that things start wrapping up in the case of who might be the actual person who starts the fire at Caledon University, especially since today's playthrough is one full of nervousness, pressure, and suspects to analyse!

I know things might not have seemed too easy by now either, but while each decision you take in this game leads to a different path than the one that will get other players, for me it feels extremely stressful to finally make my last analysis on who the guilty one might be, thinking that I might pick wrong.

So, along with all the clues (that might not be all of them) which finally feel about to matter, I think one thought was the same. Namely, that every single suspect was a suspect for a reason and that if we take a step back and judge from an objective point of view, they all had a great chance to be the actual person who starts the fire.

What could make you have the right decision was focusing on the small details, as well as having a little background from the previous game, since most of this game's characters have been first seen in Life is Strange: Double Exposure, and you could already have a better overview of how each of them actually is.

Hence, after chasing leads through abandoned buildings, infiltrating the Abraxas House, confronting Safi, speaking with countless characters, and trying to make sense of visions from the Overlight, this chapter shifts gears completely. Actually, the whole video is around analysing all the suspects and making the final decisions, so it rather feels like the silence before the storm since you'll figure out whether I made the right decisions or not in the upcoming posts.

What I enjoyed most about this chapter is that it doesn't simply hand you the answer. The game expects you to think back to previous missions and remember conversations that seemed insignificant at the time, where suddenly, details from Fremont House, the Abraxas party, Owen's office, Safi's disguises, and even smaller interactions with other students all begin connecting together. It's incredibly satisfying because it rewards paying attention throughout the entire story instead of just following objective markers, which I always appreciated because I feel like my brain is stimulated a bit more than just going with the flow and what the game has to offer, often feeling very limited by the game's base story.

While everyone gets a bit of an idea of who the guilty person might be, the most important decisions are going to be featured in the upcoming two videos. I loved seeing, though, that this chapter and part of the story ended on an emotional note with Chloe and Max finally sharing a kiss after a long wait to see this happening again. Ooops!

Since I don't want to get too much into details like what the full list of suspects was and what they all had as evidence that could make them considered as the guilty ones, because I plan to keep this post spoiler-free, I will stop here. But not before mentioning that you can see everything in my playthrough linked above. Do you have any guesses already? Let me know!
