My Actifit Report Card: August 23 2026

I only got a little over two thousand steps counted but I actually walked at least eight kilometers. Well I have tried to fix it but I can't.
Today, as always was a very hot day, I guess at least 36 degrees Celsius. But it started raining nearly two hours ago so things are much cooler.
At least football is back so I watch a little. But frankly it is kind of disappointing, nearly all teaams are sticking to the same style of play, they are not even taking advantage of specific quality of their players.
When I was young football was harder, you had to innovate and you did not expect a referee to save you. Nowadays a player takes a dive and automatically asks for a card. If I were refereeing he would be the one getting it.
But everything evolves and I suppose young people as players or as fans are ok with it. If it were not so you would be seeing empty stadiums.
I guess it has to do a lot with the huge amounts of money that are spent on football. Leaving aside inflation, what a single top player makes nowadays could have funded the Honduras league for a decade, maybe more.
