Everyone tells you to FIGURE IT OUT

If you pull me to a corner and ask ... "Do you have it all figured out?" - I would probably say "YES". But then, you would know I was lying cos in as much as it's cool to answer yes, the truth is .. no body really has it all figured out..
... Even Mark Zuckerberg confirmed he didn't have it figured out while building Facebook. It just came and he kept growing.
I'm Okoye Divine, but I like to call myself the techk Doctor. I'm currently building 3 brands across 3 different industries and business categories.
Do I have it figured out? ... Definitely NO. Then why am I still building? .. cos I believe that's the only way to FIGURE IT OUT.
I used to think running a service based business was just about having a skill and selling it to people.. untill I learned web development.. then I started hearing things like, you need to position yourself, create content, advertise, pitch to businesses, do 1 million cold call, do warm outreach, do email marketing.. Ahhh!!! All these thingssss ... The truth is, I would never know I had to do these things if I had not put in the work.
So for me... Figuring it out is not something you sit in a good corner, with a hot coffee and have a Giniee play it in your head so you know at once 😂
I think it's a process.. you figure it out as you progress, each chapter with it's own lessons.... It's own new knowledge, it's own struggles and the fight to overcome.
Plus the crazy thing is.. you keep figuring it out forever.. it doesn't end.. it's a continuous process that runs deep.
I own an app and a physical product.. not cos I see it as fancy.. but cos I want to figure it out. And today I've come to realize that the 3 categories are closely related and also distinct in some ways.
None is very easy, none is very hard.. it's a mix of unclear road and stormy weather. You just have to find your path navigating through them.
Or worse, d!e trying.
