HivePulse SEO Contest: New Week 5 Prize Pool (500 HIVE)

Summary: The HivePulse SEO Contest week 4 is settled — seven entries, every one qualified, every one correctly tagged. And week 5 changes the deal: the more people who enter, the bigger the prize pool gets, plus two new ways to earn on top of it.
🆕 Three things are new this week
1. The prize pool grows with the number of entrants

This is automatic, not a maybe. Ten valid entries and the pool is 400. Twenty and it is 500, with a 250 HIVE top prize. We will post the running entry count in the comments, so you always know which tier we are in.
2. Referral bonus — 25 HIVE each, for both of you
Bring someone who has never entered before. When they enter, they write "referred by @yourname" in their comment. If their post qualifies (SEO 70+ and tagged #hivepulse), you both get 25 HIVE — on top of any prize either of you win.
Up to 2 referrals per person per round. The person you bring has to be genuinely new to the contest and their entry has to be real — we check both.
3. Quote-RT contest on X — 50 HIVE
Quote-retweet [our announcement tweet](https://x.com/HdevCore/status/2092261884963467626) with the one line you would change in your last post — the sentence that buries your point, or the one an AI would never quote.
Best answer takes 50 HIVE. No tagging friends, no follow-for-follow — just the most useful answer. We will reply to as many as we can with what we would change.

A note on scores that do not match your screenshot
A few of you noticed the extension showing a higher SEO score than our results table. You were right, and we have changed how judging works.
The analyzer lets you set your own focus keyword, and that choice lives in your browser — it is never saved into the published post. So when we re-scored from the blockchain we detected a keyword ourselves, and it was not always the one you picked. That block is worth 35 of the 100 SEO points, so the difference was real: one post this week scored anywhere from 67 to 99 depending on which keyword was used.
From now on, judging scores every plausible keyword for your post and keeps the best one. Your result can never be lower than what the tool showed you, and the same rule applies to every entry. We re-ran week 4 under the new method before paying — the podium is identical, and @nabbas0786's score now reads 99/100 exactly as his screenshot did.
🚀 Week 5 — how to enter
1. Install HivePulse — [Chrome](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/hivepulse/hakcpohpejoejmlhiphpkjobpjeckdlg) or [Firefox](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/hivepulse/). Free, and the Chrome build covers Opera, Brave and Edge. 2. Write and publish a new post on any supported Hive frontend, using the analyzer as you write. 3. Comment below with a link to the post and a screenshot of your SEO and GEO panel. Both are required. 4. Tag the post #hivepulse. Enforced, and it has decided podiums three rounds running. 5. Referred by someone? Add "referred by @username" to your comment.
Runs 25 August → 1 September 2026, 23:59 UTC. Minimum SEO score of 70. One entry per person — post several and your best tagged one counts. Any language welcome.
Where the points actually are
Four rounds in, the pattern is stable: SEO scores cluster high because Hive creators already write decent titles and headings. GEO — whether an AI answer engine can lift a passage and cite it — is where the gap is.
1. Open with the answer. First 8–60 words, before any preamble. 2. Write self-contained sentences. "This shows…" means nothing quoted alone. Name the subject. 3. Keep pronoun density low. Repeat the noun where a weaker draft reaches for "it".
And the cheapest points on the board: fill in the preview description — 10 SEO points, 15 seconds. PeakD calls it "Short preview description", under the editor. On Ecency it is in the Story preview step.
