Good day everyone! It’s mercredi which means Wednesday and I hope we are all having a very amazing week so far. Well, I welcome you all to the lesson hour for mercredi and hopefully you enjoy this session, I don’t just want us to read without gaining anything that’d stick to our minds.
Now we have upgraded to learning expressions and not just words alone and today’s expression is one of the most useful ones you’ll ever learn because they appear in our everyday life and conversations.
The word is Je ne sais pas. Je ne sais pas simply means I don’t know, many things in life are not certain and we don’t know everything so yeah, sometimes when conversing we might find a need to say « I don’t know ».
Pronunciation goes like this [zhuh nuh say pah] or jho no se pa (easier prononciation) No matter your level in French, you’ll probably use this expression very often because it’s simple, practical and part of everyday conversation like I explained earlier.

Examples:Je ne sais pas où il est. – I don’t know where he is.
Je ne sais pas la réponse. – I don’t know the answer.
Learning a language isn’t about knowing everything but to me I see it that being humble enough to accept that the most useful mindset is simply admitting you don’t know yet. Every good learner starts there.
