Hello #hive family, #game lovers and my fellow community builders! It’s a new week and im here again to share a very interesting thought with us.
Now we all know that gaming or playing #games is something very special and important to us especially for us that are specifically gamers or lovers of games, and I have noticed that anyone who plays competitive games knows what frustration can do to you, we don’t like to be frustrated while playing. Maybe im even writing out of pain lol cause I lost a whole threshold and hardwork after anger made me frustrate and relent. I was close to buying a new player, having less than 23% the requirement to purchase him but just because one match went wrongly I reduced my quality of play and after a few hours the star was off market.
Yeah it’s very inevitable to play à game for a long time without feeling any sort of problem or disappointment, sometimes when you lose one match, another one, something happens suddenly and you’re gonna notice that you’re no longer playing with the same patience you had when you started. The adrenaline would come in and push fully (😂)You begin rushing decisions, blaming teammates, taking unnecessary risks and making mistakes you normally wouldn’t make because frustration is setting in gradually and it always doesn’t help matters.

The interesting thing is that the problem isn’t always lack of skill it’s just that sometimes emotion is interfering with the skill you already have… doesn’t seem possible?.. think about it. A calm player can think about positioning, timing and strategy but an angry player often reacts instead of thinking, sometimes anger makes us work with pressure and force playing, this scenario makes gaming a fascinating lesson in emotional control because the moment frustration takes over, the quality of decision making usually drops, im many cases it drops immediately.
Now we could take this beyond gaming and talk about how the same thing happens in real life, let’s just use this gaming scenario as a window to see how anger can make people send messages they regret, make financial decisions they shouldn’t make, or walk away from opportunities simply because they reacted emotionally.

Sometimes we are very close to our target we have set for ourselves in-game but we begin to play worse than we were playing to get to the present level before the frustration started to set in and technically that makes the previous efforts less effective, forgetting the fact that it took us so much brain power, maturity, patience and dedication to achieve what frustration destroyed.
Thanks for taking your time to read,
