[Nintendo Direct] If these rumors are 100% confirmed, we know the studio responsible for the Ocarina of Time remake. It's Monolith Soft, the company we know from the Xenoblade series. I've never played it, and if I have, it's only been for a few minutes, but I've heard a lot of praise for it from Poland and abroad, from female and male gamers, renowned reviewers, and regular audiences like you and me. So, it's good.

The event was split into two days. Day 1 belongs to Zelda, day 2 to everyone else. I've heard all sorts of rumors about the show, which will take place on September 9th. This is an important time for Zelda fans, as well as for Nintendo – although GTA 6 isn't their enemy, it is a gargantuan dragon, and just being near it makes Link or Queen Zelda's heart beat faster. Apparently, we're supposed to get a few game announcements; I assume they'll show us Ganon or a trailer. I'll be seriously surprised if it doesn't, because when you go to beat someone in the face, you wear your best gear like a medieval knight.
You may not be a fan of Nintendo, but they created the save game feature and motivated the best game developers in America. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Link will crush GTA 6 on sale.

And so we officially say goodbye to the Nintendo Switch 1. The king is dead, long live the king. Maybe Nintendo S2 will beat it in popularity.

[Trump's tariffs and corporate attitudes] As a reminder, all large companies agree that they always deserve their money, and the customer always gets the right product at the right price (which, unfortunately, has been an increasingly rare occurrence for some time now). Nintendo looks gorgeous now, just like Sony did in the PS4 era, but they also have their sins on their conscience. https://www.eurogamer.net/sony-microsoft-no-refunds-us-tariff-lawsuits
[Witcher 1] Although this was rumored some time ago (and even if they hadn't, it's quite obvious for a large studio – due to technological advancements, sometimes employees are delegated to other projects), we've received official confirmation. Work on the Witcher 1 remake has been suspended. Fool's Theory is mainly focusing on DLC for the third installment. Besides that, the core team (those from The Witcher 4) is refining the technology, which will partially be included in Witcher 1. https://gamerant.com/witcher-remake-development-on-hold/
[Witcher 4] Jaskier will return in Witcher 4: Doomsday. Seriously, the voice actor boasted that he recorded some of the dial tones. Apparently, his performance won't be very demanding – a slightly larger cameo or something. https://gamerant.com/the-witcher-4-dandelion-jaskier-return/
[007 First Light] The game has sold 4 million copies, and for this reason, the game is currently on a 20% discount.

[Saros] The game has been updated, adding a new mode (with another on the way), and NG+ (which means additional upgrades, new secrets, etc.). It seems to be longer than Returnal's Tower of Sisyphus. https://gamerant.com/saros-zenith-update-features-boss-rush/
[Unitl Dawn 2] If you're curious about the connection between Parts 1 and 2, check out the link below. https://gamerant.com/until-dawn-2-first-game-connected/
[Metro 2039] The game will be released on February 4, 2027. https://gamerant.com/metro-2039-release-date/
[TLoU] Neil Druckmann recently announced that this isn't the end, the franchise will continue, etc. I'll say the same thing I said the first time I found out the sequel wasn't a mega-hit like the first part – I respect the giant balls with killing Joel, I don't respect you for having absolutely no idea how to do it. At the crossroads, instead of choosing left or right, you jumped right into the middle. Into a field of sharp bushes and nettles, full of insects, every inch of ground covered in animal shit, and then you were surprised to emerge all red, bitten, and stinking. XD Seriously, does a noname have to tell you the basics of creating anything? And okay, maybe that was Sony's decision/fault—if so, I take back what I said. However, if it's your fault, then after a great first game, you abandoned the second.
It's no coincidence that the TLoU 2 series is crashing at the same time as the game. Joel dies, people watch an episode or two out of curiosity, laugh at the female characters (which I defended, but oh well, it's not my fault they were simply poorly written, acted, and portrayed), and then delete the game, cursing under their breath. And when someone forcefully defends the game – "Let's eat shit, millions of flies can't be wrong." Or... Anything can be proven by force.

[Xbox and Cloud Gaming] From now on, playing through Game Pass "in the cloud" will be subject to time limits depending on your subscription level. https://gamerant.com/xbox-game-pass-cloud-gaming-streaming-time-limits/
[Call of Duty: Warzone] Call of Duty and three other games will be shut down soon - on October 23rd. The remaining titles have different dates.

[Ghost of Yōtei: Complete Edition] The game will go on sale on October 1st of this year and costs $15. It will also feature a new survival mode. Among the available characters will be the hero of Tsushima, Jin Sakai.

[Crimson Desert] On October 15th, the developers will release a DLC that will add new quests, among other things. Apparently, the studio has been working hard on it.

[Star Wars Zero Company] Another EA game, another toxic behavior. A few weeks before the game's release, 80% of the crew was forced to take unpaid leave. Meanwhile, 20% of the team is patching holes and working on patches. At times like these, I wish the video game market would crash, that companies like these would go bankrupt, and that only those that respect their employees and customers would survive. This can be done; the creators of Stellar Blade and others are vocal about it.

[Fable] Apparently, the main quest will take 15-20 hours to complete, and the side quests will take the same amount of time.

[FF Resonance] Lightning, Sepiroth, and more will be joining the game. The GameRant team has prepared a preliminary description of the game. A physical version of the game will be released, but you won't be able to install it without an internet connection. https://www.eurogamer.net/final-fantasy-7-revelation-physical-version-catch

[Doom TDA] Warning: this is going to be a strong statement. Just as it's fundamentally impossible to avoid certain toxic work practices (higher sales during the holidays, contact with tons of people on vacation, gaming crunch, etc.), sitting for a month and polishing bugs 100% is one thing, but working "just to get there quickly" is quite another. In fact, I'd even go so far as to understand such harsh conditions and crunching for two or three weeks if you get a nice bonus later. This should be civilized and employees should be protected with contracts and regulations, but as I said – it's unavoidable. Anyone who's worked even a little bit in their life knows that sometimes employers have to force you to work harder. Do you want to avoid this? Be rich. Do you want to be rich? Well, you have to be lucky or work overtime.
Unfortunately, these aren't the days of Doom 1-2, when you could make two BIG triple-A games in about two years. Back then, you had one outstanding programmer, a few lesser employees, and it somehow worked. Crunch wasn't as painful as it is today, because there was much less work. Games today are incredibly expensive, and there are more of them. What's more, if we're aiming for a mass market customer (instead of making a cheaper game for a specific type of audience), and our game is too expensive, we can't afford marketing. The competition is too fierce. Times are also more difficult, because we have too many developers in the market, the release schedule is too tight...
By the way, I'm slowly finishing playing the DLC. If you want to play the new Doom and are hesitant – the base version sucks, but the DLC makes the game shine, so... Ultimately, I recommend it, but on sale. https://www.eurogamer.net/doom-the-dark-ages-revelations-id-software-crunch
[Don't Nod] The studio behind the Life is Strange series is preparing for another wave of layoffs. This is different from its competitors, as Don't Nod originates from France, where special laws protect employees from layoffs apply.

[AC Black Flag] The latest installment in the renowned French series will soon be released on Nintendo consoles.

[Splinter Cell Remake] Screenshots from one of the most iconic series of my teenage years have leaked online (those goggles!). The screenshots are reportedly from an early build of the game.

[Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game] Ranked mode has been added in version 1.0, along with a few other features. https://gamerant.com/avatar-legends-the-fighting-game-update-ranked-mode-patch-notes/
[Pokemon] In October, you'll be able to find a level 50 Celebi in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen.
