Painting from a movie scene IV

Continuing my figure and color studies, I looked for a movie with scenes that have a lot of people in them. I found this movie [Tomboy](https://film-grab.com/2020/08/26/tomboy/#) that fits what I needed.
I want to paint this one loosely, with colors just being "there" and the figure not really being formed but you can see it's there. The pose reminded me of the artist Egon Schiele, so I just went on and pulled that inspiration from his self portraits. I like this one tbh even though it only took me probably 10 minutes.
Then I picked something with a nice angle and lighting. I also love the colors and doing all those [abstract paintings](https://peakd.com/hive-174301/@hiddenblade/intuitive-paintings-iii) were worth it since I can see that I'm very mindful of how I mix the paint and not spam the canvas with highly saturated colors. :D
I also chose this scene because they are outdoors with harsh sunlight. I'm also trying to be better with painting harsh highlights and shadows since I mostly just paint scenes with soft lights. Impressionists are so good with painting scenes like this and they are always on point with their shadows so I'm also learning that.
These studies are in preparation for a big painting that I will be doing which I have been delaying for a while now. :P I do feel more confident now that I don't really overthink what I put in my sketchbooks. :D
