After several months of development and a long battle with Apple’s ecosystem, we now have a fully functional iPhone app that brings HiveDebit to iOS with native payment and card-management features. The application is scheduled to launch before the end of March.
Current capabilities include:
- Send and receive HBD or HIVE via AirDrop or SMS. Login is required for this feature. SMS availability and delivery costs may vary depending on the user’s mobile carrier.
- Create invoices for a HiveDebit card and accept tap-to-pay payments.
- Create invoices for a Lightning card and accept tap-to-pay payments.
- Generate QR-based invoices for Lightning, HBD, and HIVE payments.
- Receive real-time notifications for both incoming and outgoing transactions on the logged-in account.
- Create physical cards paying with Bitcoin Lightning, HIVE, or HBD, and program them directly on the app.
