yesterday for the first time I watched the Napel flood and sincerely speaking it was very devastating to watch, seeing people fled for their lives, only to be caught up with heavy wave of flood, gushed out with so much speed there's no way anyone could out run it, it was fierce carrying anything in it's path, I watched high rise buildings,cars, properties carried away by the flood like it was just a mare paper, this is one very dangerous natural disaster, but then how about the ones we cause on our own.
our cities will only give back what they have received, is like the saying as you dress your bed so you lie on it, the foods ravaging our cities and towns 80% of those floods are caused by us, I have never experienced floods and I pray I don't, cause it's so devastating, imagine you've furnish your apartment, went out only to return home to a house filed with water, all your valuables submerged in water, this is not talk of the health implications

Most times some people do things without thinking of the consequences in the long run, we often forget that what we are currently experiencing now is reaction of our actions and inactions, not everyone pays attention to what is to come, just careless about most things
in the end when the repercussions start coming they start pointing fingers, blaming the government for not working, not doing this or that, forgetting their own fault in the process
if we must enjoy our cities, a more cleaner safer and perfect environment to live in, then we must realise it all depend on us to act and not neglect our simple duties. doing what is necessary now.
that simple sachet you threw outside, that bottle water carelessly discard will go pile up somewhere why not recycle or dispose them properly, waste manage is everyone's responsibility, let's endeavor to collectively do our due diligence.
