LOH303: Why i prefer minimalist lifestyle instead

there was a time I asked my brother why he spends so much on cloths, back then he buys a single shirt for 5k or higher, I haven't started earning tho but that seems expensive to me, atimes I would exclaimed at some of the outrageous prices and wonder why someone would spend such amount on one shirt or a pair of trousers
uptill now I still believe on a minimalist lifestyle, simple, decent and clean as a matter of fact I don't like using a particular cloths for more than three years at some point I would gift them out to someone else,
I really don't believe on using expensive things to feel rich or wealthy, I always tell myself no matter how wealthy I will be, sometimes I would take a walk down the streets, ride bikes go on hiking, travels and sit down with ordinary people, I love simplicity, I don't need to drive big cars or display expensive things for any reason
you see, I come from a part of the world that places huge value on money, here wealth is literally everything, the more money you have the more your value in the society, you are rated higher, given higher positions, worshiped, given titles and positions whether you understand what is going on or not, you're celebrated highly all in lieu of getting your money.

there was a time mark Zuckerberg visited Nigeria, he wore simple clothing: a jean trouser and a grey polo, he looked ordinary but he was among the world's richest, this is the kind of life I love, not loud, not screaming Riches, just simple, quiet yet magnified inside, yet my bank account runs in billions.
I'm not even talking about the banters that goes on among our celebrities, especially the musicians, when one person buys a Rolls-Royce next the other buys the latest model, if you go to their garage cars are just there, all of that for showbiz, totally unnecessary.
I love expensive things no doubt, but I would prefer minimalist lifestyle, because at the end of the day I feel these guys just doing these to send a message of how wealthy or how influential they're nothing much so you ask me all this to what end.
I know people do have different perspective to these things, but in the end I think it's really unnecessary.
