Memories of Loss.

I navigated a surreal sequence of shifting rooms, passing a laundry shop, a graveyard, and childhood home of Akito to relive painful memories of his parents deaths. After sprinting through pitch-black corridors and a dense forest guided by torches, I unlocked a door leading back to the base of Tokyo Tower.

The journey shifted into a strange, vision-like space starting inside a laundry shop packed with washing machines. Akito and Mari appeared in the memory, with Mari worrying about their sick mother shortly before her passing.

Stepping out into a large department store, I searched for an exit while listening to past audio of Mari frantically calling Akito to hurry to the hospital.

Opening another door brought us straight into a quiet graveyard where their parents were buried, with Mari softly remarking that their mother and father were finally back together.

Passing through a door embedded in the cemetery, we emerged inside Akito and Mari's childhood home. Akito spoke about starting fresh and building a life together just the two of them.

Moving forward through the next doorway, the environment plunged into a dark basement corridor. KK warned Akito to stay calm and keep moving forward. I sprinted blindly into total pitch-black darkness, hearing Akito's heavy footsteps echoing off invisible walls.

Remembering the flashlight, I switched it on, revealing a solid red wall right in front of me and a hidden side door nearby.

Stepping through, we entered a dense, dark forest filled with glowing torches marking a trail.

Following the lights led to a wooden door attached directly to the trunk of a massive tree. Right as I approached it, KK suddenly warned me not to turn around. Rattled by the creepy vibe, I turned the camera around anyway, but found nothing lurking in the shadows behind us.

Turning back to open the door on the tree, we stepped through and found ourselves standing at the base of Tokyo Tower.

Echoes of Mari's voice filled the air, asking why she was left all alone in Tokyo and threatening to jump. Spotting another door standing near the tower structure, I moved forward to see where it led next.

We'll continue in another post.
