The Aunt Who Was Always In My Corner

I think everyone have got uncle and aunt who knows you more than the blood relations because how you just have to be yourself when you were around them
and how they always ensured that you can trust them with anything and were more friends than the friends and more of a close relation than the cousins and all.
I'd count myself in one of those lucky one's who have that kind of bond with them and I've had always told everything to them first and asked for words before making up a decision or after ruining something would be the one to reach out and figure things out before it gets messy and put me in any sort of trouble.
But it wasn't just me they had my back all the time but there are some situations where I was the who stood for them when no one else seems to did.
The one time my aunt knew it before
Anyone else and it was quite shocking because the words could never come out of my mouth but somehow she figured there's a girl
And asked me about it and told her about her and everything, it's been over 5 years since that thing happened and just an year ago when we met again
And she outta nowhere asked about her and but we weren't even together and told her everything and she was like I could talk to her and all like that's how much she cared about everything and we have that kind of bonding no one else have got with her it's just somehow we both get along with each other quite nicely.
When it was her time to get married
I remember when she met a guy and was in love told me about it and was worried that the family wouldn't let her marry to him because apparently they had an ongoing beef with them.
And his brother wouldn't just agree so when things got serious and escalated I was with her and took stand when she asked the family to get them engaged and all.
No one was ready for it, when all out and she stood for herself knowing damn well that we are with her.
So somehow they had to agree because it was meant to be them. And now that I have uncle as well we get along even better.
the little moments
The thing is it goes back a long way, the bonding didn't happen overnight it happened since when I was born she did cared enough
Was the first one to make my birthday memorable when she planned all that, made cake for me all by herself and throughout the life been there with me. It was something I thought I would never have in the life and the way she made me special everytime is why I always have a special place for her in my heart, no cousins or any other relation could be as Goat'ed as such and I guess most of you'll agree with it.
