Siento que cuando diseñas un muñeco, no hay leyes que te digan como: "Si no haces esto, dejará de ser un perro"... o cosas así. Hay quienes dicen que tejer y destejer es realmente una pérdida de tiempo.
. . . DESTEJO PORQUE: Me equivoqué en tejer la secuencia, sino quedará deforme Le daré más volumen del que ya tiene Sé que mejorará si le cambio el tipo de punto Quiero incorporar nuevas puntadas Cierta parte tendrá mayor rigidez Probaré este otro color, me parece que combina mejor.
... Destejo, porque sé que puedo mejorar el diseño del muñeco en sí. Es como si cada parte del muñeco me hablara o tuviese vida. Y si tengo que hacer cambios, ese es el momento.

En esta parte el muñeco va tomando forma de perro cachorro. Para esto, te recomiendo tener a la mano alfileres. Reyna, es un muñeco grande para mí, por lo que sería bastante útiles alfileres más grandes. Estos los utilizaría en las extremidades.

¿Tejes 2 proyectos a la vez? || Are you working on two projects at the same time?
Normalmente no. Reyna es de un color oscuro (color cuy) y quería relajar mis ojos con otro proyecto que tenía para esa semana. Mas aún, porque llevaba colores claros, y era tejer, mas no diseñar. Solo en esos tiempos hago 2 ó 3 proyectos a la vez, jaja.

Entre orejas || Tasting Ears
Este tipo de orejas es característico de Reyna, así que manos a la obra. La oreja de la foto izquierda me encantó pero estaba delgada. En la foto derecha, le dí mayor volumen agregando una puntada mas al inicio. En esta parte sí podía cambiar el número del crochet, pero no lo hice.

Luego de las orejas. Lo otro que tenía pendiente fue la cola o el rabito. Al inicio no sabía cómo darle una textura firme y sin tejer varios puntos ni rellenarlo. Recordé un tipo de puntada utilizado en uno de mis personajes. Otro aspecto fue la posición de la cola. Al ser un cachorro estirándose, la cola también tiene movimiento.
>After the ears. The other thing I still had to do was the tail. At first, I didn't know how to give it a firm texture without weaving many stitches or stuffing it. I remembered a type of stitch I used on one of my designs. Another aspect was the position of the tail. Since it was a puppy stretching, the tail also moves.
Reyna en camino || Reyna on the way
Es una de las pocas veces que avanzo mi tejido con gente observándome, jaja. Si bien, en el Tren la gente anda pegado al celular. Hubo curiosos que me observaban en silencio. Aquí, estaba avanzando con el tutú y como eran puntadas repetitibas, todo estaba tranquilo.
>This is one of the few times I've made progress on my weaving with people watching me, jaja. On the train, though, people are glued to their cell phones. There were some curious onlookers who watched me in silence. Here, I was making progress on the tutu, and since the stitches were repetitive, everything was going well.
¡Lo logré! || I did it!
Sí fué un reto diseñar un cachorro en movimiento, mas aún por el tamaño. Por eso, le haré ligeros cambios antes de sacar el patrón de Reyna, así que atentas.
Reyna ya está con su dueña, y con la Reyna original (la de 4 patas, jaja). Lo que más me alegra fue que a su dueña le encantó. Y creo que este muñeco cumplió su objetivo, el de estar al lado de su allu o manada.
>It was a challenge to design a puppy in motion, especially given its size. That's why I'm going to make a few minor changes before I release Reyna's pattern, so stay tuned.
>Reyna is already with her owner, along with the original Reyna (the four-legged one, jaja). What made me happiest was that her owner loved her. And I think this crocheted toy served its original purpose to be by the side of its "allu" or herd.
